Wait so pointing out the lack of any evidence or coworkers stepping up is bad faith? Come on man. If it was Obama, they’d be putting up gold plaques. Seems like someone’s feelings are getting in the way of logic here.

So not a single coworker would remember you from that "Starbucks" if you were in the running for President with two weeks left until election day?

I didn't say that. They would and that's a good point. However, there were people who worked entirely different shifts than me who I never interacted with. I remember some faces, but not their names. I would expect that the morning crew I never worked with wouldn't remember me, but some of the night crew who I closed with would.

It isn't apples to oranges. That was 14 years ago for me compared to 40 for Harris. If it was a summer job then how many people could there be who she overlapped with and want to bring ire upon themselves to vouch for it? What about publicly countering Trump would be appealing for them? I don't blame anyone for choosing anonymity considering the threats MAGA rains down upon people for publicly contradicting the dear leader's narrative.

At the end of the day, this is a serial liar accusing someone else of lying about something and the onus about truthfulness shouldn't be on the accused.

Do not run for president, or we get to re hash this entire thread again.
Did your check say Sodexo Aramark, or Chartwells?

Aramark, baby. Tried to steal our tips and paid us next to nothing. But, it was beer money and I was able to trade coffee for free Wendy's in the student union.

What about in the 90s and early 00s when Kamala's name started getting out there? Do you think any of her coworkers would know they used to work with the Alameda County Deputy DA, the SF DA, etc.?

It's a weird thing to lie about, but she does these things to try fitting in, which is why the majority of Americans feel her campaign/her own personal self are too manufactured/fake.

I honestly don't know or care what people in California thought during the 1990s or 2000s. Unless it's about Arnold Schwarzenegger becoming their governor. That was weird!

If you don’t care what people in CA thought then, why are you defending a story no one from that time can confirm? Call out Trump for lying but Kamala lies plenty.

Because it's a double standard to fixate on something like this. You demand utter transparency and honesty from Kamala Harris, yet seemingly do not hold Donald Trump to the same standard.

I shared an anecdote about my own experience working a seasonal food service job and how it would be difficult to prove, to the degree that MAGA would ever be satisfied, that I worked there.

I'm defending it because it's stupid to assume that the accusers are operating in good faith (they're not).

The bad faith part is that you know that is crap evidence. It has been more than 4 decades since she was did some part time work there. To pretend that people haven't come out to talk about it, is damning, is the part that you understand is in bad faith. It is incredibly weak.

Also the entire issue is not very important at all.

Yall two will believe anything Kamala says, that's pretty apparent. turn the tables around and if Trump had as flimsy of proof he worked at a restaurant as Kamala has with this McDs, you'd be calling him out and saying he's a liar. Yeah, double standard indeed.

Kamala being trolled hard like this on her birthday, giving Trump some of the best presidential campaign photo ops of all time, will be in the history books. It's like Bill Clinton playing the saxophone. It's the humanizing moment Kamala tried creating on Colbert with the beer drinking, but failed miserably.

Considering the magnitude of potential lies (I worked at McDonald's in my 20s) vs. provable lies (This election was rigged and we should overturn the results to satisfy my ego)...

I won't believe anything Kamala Harris says, especially if there is strong evidence that she's lying. That criteria has not been met for this instance. It is also coming from a campaign that is comprised of proven and admitted liars.

Ah so lying is okay as long as you think it’s small? That’s a dangerous standard to set. A lie’s a reflection of character, plain and simple

What? Are you questioning Shelley G's bonafides? What if another of his favorite news sources "catturd" backs her up?

You've got your vote and I've got mine. It's clear we're not going to change each other's minds.

I don't understand your change of heart considering you're a self-professed 2016 Sanders supporter. But, that's your decision to make and the beauty of America.

You're far too invested in this. But, maybe I missed it: what is the proof that she didn't work at McDonald's? Is it just that there isn't proof that she did? Cuz that'd be stupid.

What do you mean too invested? Nah I’m just watching people freak out because some folks don’t buy Kamala’s McD’s story. Meanwhile Trump’s getting love in critical areas like Philly suburbs. Maybe the real issue is that Harris supportere are a few steps behind on what really matters.

I cant believe politicians are arguing over this or that this is a real story. I worked at Mcdonalds for one day back in High School, that **** was hard, and I never went back. I dropped my uniform off with a friend/co-worker and never bothered to get my check................I am not sure I could ever prove it, but I can guarantee that was the WORST job ever and I did a summer of telemarketing and one summer of selling RAINBOW carpet cleaners LOL..................those RAINBOWS were ahead of their time, I had this trick of taking the sheet off a bed and vacuuming up dead skin and crud off there dam mattress that got em every time :D
