This offensive Line is hot ass. Realistically are there any trade-able O Lineman we could go after? Because after what we’ve seen through 7 weeks, this line isn’t getting better.
If it wasn’t for Mixon elite rushing game, the Texans would have been blown out of the water. The passing game was non existent. The defense and the rushing game kept the Texans within striking distance. The OLine is a perpetual disaster; so much resources, capital, hope, just to be obliterated like rag dolls. Tytus Howard tripping over his own feet (mind you untouched) allowing a clear part by the defense to sack Stroud was straight out of the 1990’s football comedic movies (that would have fit in the movie Necessary Roughness like a glove).
YES........the bunch formation is bringing the D to put to many in the box and you cant tell who is coming on the blitz......spread it out and STOP the bunch formation so much
They might be bunched up to cover for their ineffectiveness when spread out. So they could be worse, and that is a scary thought
definitely worth a shot. Against the Steelers last year they didn't give up one sack. Knowing who to block is kind of a big deal.
From my days of playing and coaching -- vs that alignment you have both the center and strong side guard uncovered. The guard should squeeze down towards the center, but looking to block out -- the tackle does the same, but looking to block out. It was blasphemy to let the defensive end get a full head of steam going toward the QBs blindside -- has any of that changed??
Truth. But it's showing that Defensive coordinators, a few who are stubborn in their own ways, are more than willingly revamping their style for a week to exploit our inept line. I watched the GB vs Rams a few weeks back. GB's defense had little disguise and no stunting.
That was great. I love the spin when he watches someone go behind him and how out of breath he is at the end.
Its ridiculous not knowing who to block. I've never seen it this bad. We have 3! THREE! UNO, DOS, THREES #1 DRAFT picks on the o-line and a #2 draft pick and they are still horrible.
That first tweet is damning, we have no idea how to pick up a stunt, at all... Which means no one is talking, no one is communicating. I think it was mentioned earlier that the offensive line lacks a leader, this confirms it in my eyes.
