Looks like Trump is having another better week than Kamala -

she's looking worse than worse every week and she's attracting nobody

I think you are making this into something I was not alluding to and that's fine.
I was just giving one example as to why this could hurt with a certain segment of people.

And did you see the part I mentions twice that I do not know if she ever worked there or not.
To me this is a non issue, but to some looking for hope this may hurt.

55K for a kitchen reno... damn. Would love to see some before and after of that project.

One life hack I'd encourage people to learn is how to make your own shaker style cabinet doors. Maybe you want to do it right with a million dollar home, but if you have a 200 to 500K home with a modest kitchen space, if your layout & carcasses are still good it can save you 10K by just changing out the faces, and painting. Then do a backsplash yourself for 300 to 400 bucks in materials, and then the only thing you then have to pay for is for a pro to come install a new counter top.

But yeah if you have a million dollar home, I know that's not feasible to diy, and buyers at that price point would frown on anything they could tell was maybe DIY.

    Hope the project goes well.

Oh I know. I'm just saying that this is kind of what they are trying to do with this campaign. Getting normies to talk about this even if the normies are like (yeah she probably did work there but...). The fact that people like us are talking about this and not Trump's baggage is a win for them.

Because every piece of data out there shows that the more Trump is hidden in the media, the higher he polls consistently. He's like this illusion out there, and when he's exposed his polling consistently is worse for him.

So Trump needs distraction distraction distraction, and his campaign wants to do everything they can to hide him from saying crazy sh$t these next two weeks.

    Cabinets alone are 30K
We are also putting in new red oak hardwood, updating electrical, new appliances, quartz countertops, backsplash, 4 new windows, updating from electric to gas. It's a lot
they contractors are taking it back to the studs.

Funny story, my ex-wife and I did basically the same thing to our first house. I then filed for divorce less than a year after.
As a result, my current wife is about as nervous as a cat in a room of rocking chairs.

I will say the big story I think this week will be the leaked plans for Israel's attack on Iran.
I have already voted but that may be the "October Suprise" all allude to here in Clutchland.

Actually, the government doesn't make those transcripts available that far back. Best she could pull is a copy of her SSA records saying how much she made that year, but it wouldn't identify where. And in 1983, most records were still paper files.

For those interested, Phyllis Goldblatt is the owner of the location in question. She and her husband own several locations, but according to their son they opened their first location in 1993, so they would not have been the original owners of the location Kamala worked at.

Damn. Well good luck with that lol. No at that price point though I'm sure you are dealing with pros, and it's just the matter of time. At least you aren't likely dealing with cash contractors who you have to monitor, and clean up after.

I'm not one to give marriage advice but maybe take her on a vacation to distract or something. Again on the strategy of distraction.... that's how you win the game lol.

I think Michigan and the Jill Stein vote from Arab American's is the thing that would keep me up at night if I was in Kamala's campaign. So yeah I don't doubt it could be a bigger deal than people think. Biden's hug of Netanyahu I think is the worst political decision of his term, and could be what costs Kamala.

There were only 2 McDs locations in Alameda, CA at the time Kamala said she worked there. Why hasn't one of them put up a banner saying "Kamala worked here!" in such a Kamala fan-heavy area? Not a single coworker wants to say they use to make Big Macs with the current VP?

Such a weird thing to lie about but Kamala does these things to try fitting in and/or pandering for votes.

It's only a big "scandal" if you want it to be. Most people are just poking fun at her and using it as an example of her lying/pandering.

Well he seems to be doing a good job of that lol

No one cares about Trump faking like he was working at a McDonalds, they are so out of touch with what most American's want.

The majority of this country can't stand Trump and won't vote for him, his cultists will and people ignorant of truth, but the majority won't.

It's funny, reading the comments under the tweet, it appears more people want the McRib back, and a shake machine that actually works.

This is your evidence? That nobody from more than 40 years ago said they worked with her for the few weeks that she worked there, isn't damaging in any way shape or form.

McDonald's didn't put up a banner? What? That's just silly and not well thought out in terms of attempting to cast doubt. A banner would automatically upset a percentage of the customer base, and possibly prevent them from patronizing the store. McDonald's franchises don't make a practice of putting up political signs.

The very fact that your desperate flailing can only come up with these things to support the claims of admitted and proven liars isn't really helping to make your case.

They said it was the one on Central Ave, so you don't have to guess.

And if the McDonalds thought it would be beneficial to them (and allowed by corporate), they could do it right now. They don't have to verify it. She said she worked there and they could easily run with that.

Obama got that love in 07/08 at the food shop he was employed at when he said he worked there as a teen. Doubt very many people in far left Alameda, CA would be upset. Why would someone stop eating McDonalds because a single location celebrates the VP was employed there decades ago?

You're really grasping here. Just face it, Kamala gave Trump a pretty great photo op, and there were more people lining the streets to see him than all of Kamala's rallies last week combined, including the bussed-in folks.

Edit: even the Alameda locals are wondering:

I'm pretty sure, you understand that the McDonald's might lose business at that location. Alameda CA and California in general isn't as homogenous as you seem to believe. McDonald's also appeal to people traveling who may not even be from CA. It isn't that the whole chain would be boycotted. It is that the particular franchise would be. They are't going to do anything to jeopardize business. And as has already been pointed out. The simple fact that Harris stated that she worked there is enough for them to put up the banner if they wanted to or it was allowed in their franchising agreement.

I don't believe that you are arguing in good faith.

This is agonizingly stupid. Of course somebody who worked a summer job in the 1980s doesn't have records like we do now. Who was taking cameras to their shifts then? Who would've thought that they'd be attacked for it 40 years later by a man who has had everything given to him?

I worked at "Starbucks" in college on UT's campus for a few semesters. I put it in quotes because it was actually a franchise and, despite all of the branding, product, and decoration, it wasn't actually a Starbucks. It was all licensed. UT took the space over a few years ago, removed the branding and renamed it the Union Coffee House, and now there's no way of telling it was ever a "Starbucks". My W-2 didn't say Starbucks and very few of us had smartphones back then; I don't think there's a single photo of me working there in 2010 because we didn't have the means to chronicle everything back then.

But, guess where I told people I worked? Starbucks. And guess what isn't on my resume because it has nothing to do with my career? "Starbucks".
