@rocketsjudoka was one of those who claimed it wasn't an issue. This lady seems to disagree.

Never denied that these things never happen but These are largely isolated cases.

I’m sure now we’re going see a whole bunch of tweets of people claiming this is. It’s the same playbook of let’s take a handful of cases and blow it out of proportion.

We currently still have laws regarding sexual harassment so any one of any gender who acts badly in a locker room can be removed and charged. As an architect who has worked on gyms and lockers we are already designing more private changing areas and gender neutral bathrooms that are more private than current stalls.

This man is "acting badly" by invading women's private spaces.

So the mere presence is acting badly? Even if so as noted that is already being addressed.

Also in response to the tweet Trump was bragging about seeing women naked and grabbing them by the p***y. Was this individual doing or even saying they were going to do that?

Everybody was outraged when Ben Stiller spiked a ball off a girl's face. Nowadays nobody bats an eye.

I’m going to note for all of the concern and white knighting by many of you on this issue I see very little interest in women’s sports other than to generate controversy between Caitlin a Clark and Angel Reese. The WNBA finals were actually very exciting but very few clutchfans have posted about them.

Also I’ve seen little commentary from y’all about the epidemic of female athletes being sexually harassed and abused by male coaches, doctors, and others.

It is as though there are no other issues affecting female sports and or interest in it except for trans people.

Since I recently was at a small Judo tournament I am a coach, referee and have been a tournament director of youth sports. One thing that many don't think of is even if we do accept that everyone should compete in the gender of their birth is how do we enforce it.

It's one thing to say at the Olympics and NCAA championships we do blood testing but the vast majority of competitions are not at those levels but at small local events run by volunteers like myself. A weekend PeeWee soccer match isn't going to have access to blood testing and even local state Judo tournaments we don't have access or funding to do those. The only way we could is if we checked the genitalia of every competitor.

As a referee I don't want to be checking the genitalia of competitors especially junior competitors. If I was compelled to do so because of government regulations I would refuse to do so and resign.

I doubt that y'all as parents want tournament officials to be checking the genitalia of your kids to compete in a local tournament.

This is why even the conservative governor of Utah vetoed a bill requiring competitors to compete only in their birth gender. He also said that there were maybe only 4 people in all of Utah that this would apply to and it wasn't worth the problems that it would raise.
