Way to go Nick. I mean who would want Kyle Hamilton when this ginormous reach, injury prone, POS was available?
No you don’t wanna get a LG in FA. It means you’re gonna overpay like we did with Mason. At this point just let K Green start for lesser Green and draft an IOL.
Lines do need time to gel/work cohesively as a unit… sometimes the end product can outweigh individual talent. Right now, they’re pretty much mid… and apparently are very easy to scheme against. Maybe the coaches are doing all they can and the individuals just aren’t getting it, or maybe it’s a team effort. But hey…. Less pre-snap penalties today though? Silver linings.
This a coaching issue. It also could be a the ol isn't very smart issue. They don't seem to be learning from their mistakes. Although the false start issues seem to be better.
They traded a late rd pick for Mason. It was worth it. He played well last year. Hopefully Caserio can do something like that again this off-season.
Which is what makes it all the more baffling. He can make smart picks like Nico but not the fing obvious pick in Hamilton?? This pick and the Turckan, Drew, Dickerson over Rashard Lewis Rockets draft. Just inexcusable reaches over an obvious choice. Nick is a well paid professional, I can understand missing on picks but not screwing up the obvious picks. No excuse for that.
I wish I could find that clip from week one when the O line let everyone through to sack CJ, I don’t think I’ve seen that on any level of football.
Fck, can we get over the miss Hamilton pick? It's not the first time nor the last damn time a team made the wrong move/pick in a draft. The point now is to fix the sht show that's there now at OL. Nick needs to fix that sht; I'll judge him on how that will get fix than the Green pick. So far, it hasn't been good.
Obvious to you. Green was a highly thought of All American. I wanted the pick to be Jordan Davis. How would you have felt if Davis was the pick over Hamilton.
I don't understand. What happened to Iron sharpens Iron. Defensively we're one of the top 5 stunnas, pressures generated from Stunts possibly high with a few today. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-stunt-success-rate-week-5 How does the 0 line not soak any knowledge from practice.
