How does a statute from one state prove voter fraud is not happening?

If you are not safeguarding against something and not measuring it at all, how do you know whether it is happening or not?

Do you think theft of things under $ 950 is happening in San Francisco?

Do you have any proof that the voter fraud you are claiming is actually happening?

Yes I can believe the theft happens in San Francisco. There is proof they is happening. That is not the same as claims that Haitians are eating dogs in Springfield, OH or massive voting fraud is happening.

    Source: GAO
Source: Heritage Foundation (yes, the conservative think tank that has been tracking voter fraud for decades)
    Source: Numerous studies

    Your source: Social media?

This has been well known for decades. Voter fraud is exceedingly rare. Like I said, require voter ID all you want, but it's essentially a feel-good measure. And look, I'm okay with that. Feeling good about our voting institutions is a good thing. If you don't believe it's secure, you wouldn't accept the result you don't like.

@Amiga is the one that claimed with certainty it is not happening.

You are throwing out names, not actual substantiated source material.

And he just presented evidence it isn’t

You’re making an argument out of ignorance. You’re trying to argue that because you are unconvinced by the evidence that it could be happening without actually countering with evidence of your own.

in other words you’re arguing your ignorance is equivalent to evidence.

That is a logical fallacy. You’re not alone though in doing it.

Who has an interest in not preventing voter fraud?

    Cui bono?

Only those who benefit from it.

Every legal immigrant knows that they can be deported if they commit crimes, especially serious ones. Every immigrant here illegally knows they will be prioritized for deportation if they commit crimes. This is why the claim that immigrants, both illegal and legal non-citizens, are committing voter fraud makes no sense. Non-citizen voting is exceedingly rare. There are more documented cases of Americans committing voting fraud (which are also exceedingly rare).

Republicans believed they would benefit from photo ID laws and other voter restrictions because, a decade ago, they thought these measures would impact Black voters and the poor more than their constituents. (It probably did, but the public is now well adjusted to them).

Everyone has an interest in preventing voter fraud. Everyone has an interest in using government resources wisely. Everyone desires a secure and smooth voting system.

With millions of voters not participating, a gov that truly represents the people should invest in initiatives to increase voter turnout instead of focusing on areas with extremely low ROI or even negative ROI.

Ranked-choice voting (RCV) would be one of those investments. Early evidence shows increased voter satisfaction, where voters feel their choices matter, and a boost in turnout. RCV benefits Americans, but not today’s politicians, especially the extreme ones and the two-party system. This type of change matter.

    https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S026137942400074X

We find significant and substantially higher probabilities of turnout in places that use RCV, and find evidence that campaigns in RCV places have greater incidences of direct voter contacting than in similar places that do not use RCV.

I wouldn't go as far as whoever is behind that account, but coming from Europe where the official final result is usually there the next morning, it is really strange to me that it would take so long to count votes?

    What is the reason?

Either you are spreading disinformation designed to foment insurrection activity if Trump loses or you have no idea how elections work.

Each county in America posts updates on their SOS website in real time after each decentralized district reports votes.

So if you can do math, you can figure out the “results” before the state posts every single vote that will be counted in the end. The whole narrative that the media “calls” the election is nonsense. The only thing the media does I basic math. When it is mathematically impossible for the candidate behind to get enough new votes reported to win, they announce the winner depending on what is being reported.

So you should either take down this post if you didn’t know this before or let it stand and everyone here can officially assume you are an activist looking to foment potential insurrection after the election.
