Because Sengun consistently rises to the occasion in reg. season what makes you think that he will crumble in the playoffs? He attacks Lebron in the last possession is he going to stop targeting the likes of Wemby, Mobley etc. just because it is called playoff game?

so your expectations for a sulking player like kpj and for a resilient player like Sengun are identical because neither have played a play-off game?

just the fact that he got mvp at 18 in a serious Leauge is very strong indication of how strong he is mentally.

by your logic, we can’t predict anything about a player’s future success in a draft because none of them have played an nba game before.

There is a particular Filipino fella on this team not allowing them to.

No, my point was sabonis has been an awesome regular season player but completely useless in the playoffs. The guys who “play like sengun” have always sucked in the playoffs. Don’t think he will, but who knows till we see it

Sengun is much stronger than sabonis mentally and he is also a much more creative player. Sabonis’s playoff failure is no indication of Sengun’s future. And it is kind of a small sample size.

Hope so. Idk what makes sabonis mentally weak or sengun mentally strong but that’s all subjective nonsense mostly anyway

Same with OKC, they do not win a championship until they do, they have never won in their franchise history.....

Same with Sengoon, he improves every day, that is why there is confidence....

Do I seem like a clairvoyant or a higher being who can predict things in the future, no I do not lmao.......

    • Do you think Clutchfans is full of guys who own time machines?
    • It is full of people that bet on players......some have more success than others.
    • There is a first and 2nd time for everything new......young players have to experience.

    - Having coaches going hard at him in his youth
    - Competing with pros from early age
    - Always having to work his way up as the 'unathletic' player
    - Character: which shows in his summer work to improve on his weak areas
    - Play style: not afraid to take contact, to attack good players or competition

It is subjective to a certain extent, certainly not nonsense. Wood, kpj is one class green, jabari is another sengun is another. It is fairly obvious in my opinion.

He offered it to defend a really bad opinion he’s clung to for 3+ years now. I think he’s clinging to it because it’s embarrassing to admit how wrong he’s been, and for so long lol.

I’m not going to deny that there could be bad faith there—I’ve said as much previously. But Cfans!=Dave was more my point.

I sense that the haters are going into ultra mode this season. They sense Sengun is about to take the reins of the team and they realize that the max contract he is going to get is going to make them all look really stupid. Last year they were in shock and silenced by performances like the ones against Wemby, with occassional peeps made throughout the season and then a major push after he was hurt. It seems they are finally staring at reality in the eye and they can't accept it. Heck, they even recruited a hater bot lol!

Sengun is about to be our star, and just like Jokic/Murray, everyone else is gonna be second fiddle, no matter how good they play. Love it, the bandwagon was getting a little crowded last year and barely any crow was handed out towards the end, glad the usuals are back at it for some more. Hope they have their forks and napkins ready for the next serving.

Pau sucked as the number 1 guy for sure, the rest have no connection to sengun in any way outside of playing the same position i guess

They were all pre-dominantly low post players. That is the connection. Isn’t style of play your point?
