Adams is a great fit as Sengun’s backup. I hope he stays healthy and the Rockets consider extending him.

 

How long do you think it will take Adams to replace Sengun in the starting lineup? Ime is a defensive coach, we always forget about that.

 

Sengun had a better defensive rating than Adams despite playing against starters in the preseason.

 

That’s true, but who else can set screens for Jalen if it’s not Adams? We need to utilize all our resources to keep Jalen productive and at ease.

I thought Adams looked fantastic last night. His big ass presence gave the Spurs fits on screens, etc. Led the team with a +11 +/- for a reason.
