Cam could play 9 minutes a game and still put up 14 quality shots. So I'm not worried about his minutes.

 

Didnt you read the pre draft board? People kept saying Curry shot lower in college compared to Sheppard

 

If someone said that, they stated a fact. No one said he will be a better shooter than Steph in the NBA, certainly not on self created 3s at that volume.

 

Whitmore suffers from bad attitude. I predicted he is the one who is most likely to lose minutes in the core 7.

 

Why would you state something like that unless you are implying something? Lots of players shot better than Curry in college thats not surprising or worth mentioning.

Just admit people were glazing him too much and were blind to his physical limitations.

 

I get that you are a liar and all, but it's just not a winning strategy.

Jalen shot fewer than 10 shots 6 times last season, he never shot less than 7 times. only 3 of those 6 games are what I'd call really bad.

Despite your lying, when you see me bash Jalen, it's after games when he'd take 19 shots to score 16 points in 32 minutes. Not when he scores 10 points on 9 shots in 20 minutes.

One of those is detrimental to the team, the other is just not having much of a role in the game.

 

Also very obviously Reed is going to get minutes next to Fvv like I said he would, @Bobbythegreat. This means, as long as he can play up to it, the ceiling on his minutes will not be just back up pg, but both backup pg and sg = 25 mpg(maybe not at the start of the season but eventually). Surprisingly this is at the expense of Cam Whitmore which is why he sulked all game long.

 

And that's the reason those who love to be a witness and ''Live'' in the moment with their hot takes (after each play/game)...

Never consider ''Dying'' in those hot take moments

Give it a couple or so seasons so the data can be more volume and situations more abundant

Its always adjustment, even for KD (and many others), who was deadly in NCAA and still had to o adjust first couple seasons, and struggled compared to his 3rd season and beyond

If you can shoot, it will translate anywhere, speaking from 1st hand experience....... tee ball sniper (like current Sullivan trained JG4)

 

Jabari has size. If Reed can't play better offense, he will be in Vipers in rookie year.

 

You're seriously making a conclusive judgement on a rookie after the preseason? He did not shoot well from deep, sure. He also showed a lot already that will translate to the season. Can't definitively say what Reed will be at this point. How is that not obvious?

 

Reed's been lifting weights to get stronger before the season starts. Even if you're elite, it still throws your shot off. He'll be fine.

 

Yeah, Cam's body language has been pretty terrible all preseason long. It would be a damn shame if he let the hollow space between his ears waste his considerable talent.

You are the one lying and you know it. During his funk last year you called him bad almost every single game his FG% was low. It was either he had a good game and you didnt show up or he had a bad game and you were mad posting telling everyone he is such a bust.

Why dont you show me an example of a game where he shot low FG% and you praised him? If you cant do that you are clearly the liar here.

 

Good game i like this crop of youngsters a lot. If Jalen stays consistent we are definitely making the playoffs this season.

 

If Reed is going 2/2/2 in his 3rd year then I think people would have issue with that. This is a really weird victory lap to try and take.

 

Sheppard hasn't shown explosive shooting yet, and is a one year college player.

Udoka already has him ahead of Whitmore and Holiday. Goalposts have move from when people swore he wouldn't even crack the rotation this season.

It's also clear opposing teams aren't buying his slow shooting either because they are sticking to him hard over screens and off ball.

 

.....when he played poorly, I said he played poorly. Given that he's a chucker who takes a ton of shots essentially every game, it's not something you compare to a guy who took 4 random shots in a preseason game. Would I prefer it if Sheppard made 1 more shot tonight? Absolutely, but he wasn't shooting the team out of the game....when I bash Jalen's chucking games, that's what I'm bashing.

 

I agree. We should give Sheppard time to adjust and grow in the NBA, like we should have given JG and Jabari. I've always told people players should only be judged after their rookie deal is done cuz thats the time they need to earn their keep.

Lucky for RS the Rockets are actually good now so people won't hyperfixate on him like they did ti Jalen and Jabari.
