UN is a joke

Another thing they all have in common is that they don't spread white supremacy social media posts.

 

I mean there are like 50 members. But bad actors are going to end up there because they get to vote for eachother.

Is the council a joke? Yeah. It is. But everyone has known that for decades.

 

What's the alternative?

Easy to cast doubt. Hard to solution.

Maybe they need to define what those high standards are and actually enforce them?

Decides also that members elected to the Council shall uphold the highest standards in the promotion and protection of human rights, shall fully cooperate with the Council and be reviewed under the universal periodic review mechanism during their term of membership;​

 

Keep your friends close, and enemies closer.

So how does banning certain nations from the UN help human rights standards? Is banning them going to promote them to become better citizens?

 

If you are going to criticize the UN, at least get your basic grammar right. The United Nations “is” a joke. Not “are”. The term United Nations is a singular entity.

UN is a joke though it created the state of Israel? ATW's obsession due to his guilt and Germany's weird attempt to compensate for the Holocaust by supporting a genocide enacted by Jews in Palestine.
