I saw the "collapse" in the videos that were cut off, taken out of contest n are floating around on social media. Then I've decided to watch the whole video/interview, n didn't think she did bad at all, besides couple of instances. But thats just me.
This is funny... Every MAGA out there is trying to portray how bad Harris did... But what they don't understand is she won the minute she sat in that seat and took every question like a WO-MAN... What MAGA fail to realize is everyone knew she would not come out a winner in this in their eyes.. This interview was not for them, it was for Independents such as myself... So as a Independent it showed she had the (BALLS) to walk into the enemy territory and not flinch.... So please try to make it look like she was Trump that got beat down for her.. Hopefully that makes you feel good.. But in the end she WON by just showing up... T_Man
I watched it at 1.5x and thought she did alright with the constant interruptions. In fact, I think those interruptions prevented her from hanging herself like those 60 Minutes memes. It was a tougher grill than whatever people were complaining about in the Vance interviews, so I didn't think it was disqualifying to show emotion. In hindsight, Brett gets less **** from the right for "disrespecting" the VP than what Dana did to the Senator, but it's not going to be called out often because those same complainers are fragile as ****. There was likely calculation to show emotion in order to let voters know what she was passionate over. IMO, it would be odder and more Hillary-like if she didn't.
I don't understand - how are "we" bringing them to justice? They have over a hundred hostages (including Americans) at this very moment. I don't see "us" doing anything about it, other than exclaiming "cease fire" and "make a deal". Ya know who's doing something about it? Benjamin Netanyahu. it's ridiculous to say "we will always bring you to justice". What she should say is, "we will do absolutely nothing and watch Netanyahu bring you to justice"
I have no doubt that American intelligence and military officials are helping the Israelis pursue Hamas leadership. Just because we don't have boots on the ground doesn't mean we aren't assisting.
The US is the duct tape holding together an alliance between Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The latter two Islamist Authoritarian Regimes can not speak up directly against Israeli agression deep into Hamas and hez territory but guess what, they're still around, They collectively shot down missiles lobbed by Iran towards Israel twice this year. If Biden really wanted to stop Bibi, they could with some cost, but inaction is sometimes louder than words.
This. I don't think people also realize how hard it is to do that type of interview as a woman. She needs to stand up for herself and be assertive, but also not come off as a nag or b****. She cannot simple bowl people over like a male candidate could - especially a white male candidate. I think she walked that line exceptionally well. I made a similar comment about Obama when he ran - he could not be loud or angry like other candidates, people simply would not accept it from a black man in 2008. As a result Obama had to find his voice - be assertive and not a pushover but also be calm and non-threatening.... Harris has a similar deal, but in someways harder, because she doesn't just have to be non-threatening, she has to maintain general female genialities or she will not be liked. I have now watched her interview twice - and was even more impressed the second time. She has now not only held her own, but come out ahead in a debate and now a hostile interview on Fox News. Any ideas that she is a dumb woman and a DEI candidate are not believable for anyone that is making any effort to be objective. My brother-in-law who is a former Delta watched it and was stone silent other than when it was over, he said "I don't have to like her policies or vote for, but she is a tough woman. I didn't know she could do that."
I didn't think she had anything to gain by doing the interview, but I am glad she did. IMO she did very well and who knows, maybe the way trump and team portray her might have changed some folk's minds to show she is human
Excitement seems to be growing again. It might also be because something appears to be wrong with Trump. Canceling all these appearances and looking lost on stage. They may have to start using a body double soon.
