Over time, people will have to learn to keep their own AI assistants that can trawl the web, aggregate the info out there and give red, yellow, green responses to what is agreed upon or confirmed.

That way if someone tries to flood the zone with garbage, our attention is mostly on the stop lights while the assistant does the dirty work of getting reliable info.

It can still be gamed/hacked, but it makes it a ****ton easier to track all the datapoints we have to sift through in a day.

The person is a real person. They did go to the school where Walz was a teacher --- the person has in the past identified as LGBTQ and transgendered - they also have been homeless for the better part of half a decade.

Having said that - the video posted is AI - the person has ZERO mention of it on his Facebook or anywhere else - and several people that are in journalism have said that the video appears to have been heavily manipulated and AI enhanced or changed.

Someone put a lot of time and effort trying to track down any and all people that could have any connection to Walz - and someone went through the time and expense to find Mr. Metro and then to create an AI video and release it.

First - it is disgusting, sexual assault - especially of a student by a teacher isn't something to exploit or fake for political gain. Whoever did that did a major disservice to those that have been assaulted by people in positions of power.

Second - someone has taken a real person, and exploited their life and situation and thrust them into the public discourse likely without their permission.

Third - It is really sad that I expect this in 2024 after seeing convicted criminals like James O'Keefe and Project Veritas continually alter and distort and in some cases produce completely false "information" around the time of Presidental Elections and have some people believe it. Project Veritas is funded by far right PAC's and donors - while knowing that the information is largely manufactured.

I hope whoever produced the video of Mr. Metro is sued and exposed for the POS that they are - and everyone that has posted it should question what they are doing.

 

Jill Harth was also before he ever ran for President. It was all the way back in 2005 he was on Howard Stern saying how he would go into the dressing room of beauty pageants. It seems like there's a certain subset of mouth breathers that would have an agenda to prove. The ones, in particular, that don't know the definition of irony.

 

I am aware than anyone at any time can be accused of sexual harassment or assault.

I am sure there are people wrongly accused,

However - when the accusers start numbering an MLB roster, I find it really hard to not believe the accusations.

Couple that with the long time period over which these allegations have been made - some of the behaviors and comments that Trump has said - and I find it very close to zero that he did not do at least some of the allegations against him.

 

You're in law enforcement. Have you seen someone have such a variety of ways they have assaulted and variety of victims?

 

If you're very rich with plenty of hush-money to spare, constantly putting yourself around young women, think laws don't apply to you, like to joke around about groping women and walking in on them when they're dressing ("boys will be boys!"), have an over-inflated sense of entitlement, and especially enjoy belittling women, then let's say I'm not all that surprised if it turns out you have a long history of unwanted sexual advances that turn into outright assault. Trump fits the profile of a person who'll force himself on a woman while thinking to himself they must really want it and should be overenjoyed that he's giving them the time of day.
