Me and my two friends getting in on this over bet. I’ve never bet our win total before, so this is the most convicted I’ve been about an underestimated win total from Vegas, even more than last year.
My guess is predictions for our win count has one of the higher standard deviations in the league. Teams in our position seem to swing wildly. That year where you improve massively and start to show signs of a future contender... I feel like the next year, such a team will often either explode or collapse. I have no real data to base this on, just intuition and a couple anecdotes in my head. EDIT: I guess just by simple math, there's more room for movement in both directions when you're dead center anyway, heh.
