it is entertaining to watch ....almost every player will go between...All Star, Main player/starter/ role player/ scrub/ trade bait...sometimes from game to game, sometimes within the same game.

He has 10 rebounds and 5 assists ...but, true he has been horrible shooting tonight. RS is shooting 20% from 3 in 3 games.14/27 FT ..HORRIBLE!12/37 from 3 for 32%. Lot of improvement to go around.

 

I dont see that as improvement. He did those same things last year. He's not gonna average 5 assists lol So still no justification on why he should start over others who are playing better other than you like him lol.

 

It's just a preseason nothing we've witnessed matters one bit. We just wasted our 2.5 hours.

 

Preason play matters. The record doesnt and thats because teams arent puttin out their full teams. However guys missing wide open shots does matter.

 

It will take him time to get used to the 3 point NBA line. He should continue to practice and improve his stamina and strength.

I get that Bari hasn't played well, but you don't make major lineup shifts based on three preseason games. It's an absurd proposition. If he continues playing this way into the season, then I'm guessing Thompson will start over him. But this is incredibly premature.

No...won't average 5 assts. but he does pretty much average 10 rebounds...only 2 with double digit rebounders tonight...Adams 11, Bari 10. Alpy and Jalen next with 6. Despite what you say to the contrary, rebounds matter. Try winning without them. Again...Jabari shooting was dreadful. ..but he did contribute.Wonder why Ime wants him on the court 25-30 mins. each game ?

 

ABSOLUTELY ABSURD !...I mean it's beyond a quick trigger...makes no sense. But, hey everyone has their opinion and I respect that.

 

I never said Rebounds dont matter and he wont average 10 rebounds either and Amen and Tari can both rebound as well as he but they also provide other things and play defense way better. Yes as per my prior post I was wondering why he is starting. he shouldnt be and dont invoke Ime like he's been perfect lol

 

We didn't have ANYONE average 10 rebounds a game last year but we did have a couple average like 8.5 ...Jabari being one. And, don't sweat it... if Jabari is meant to be somewhere else or a non starter then that will happen. We shall see.

 

I agree. All you have to do is look at all his shooting stats the last 2 years and you will see a huge improvement from year one to year two. Just compare the different shooting stats to other starters, and you will see he's no fluke. His percentages were better than a few other starters, and he adds in more rebounds than most. I don't think he's just lost his skill, and consistent improvement from the last two years. I'm not gonna worry about him because of 3 games.
