Everytime he twisted and turned for extra yardage in close games, I was scared he'd fumble... Guess the coaching staff felt the same..
That 50 yard TD run DP ripped off probably sealed the deal for Nick. Definitely a classy move on the Texans part sending him somewhere he can get playing time instead of rotting on the bench here. That’s the kind of move that endears the organization to its players and free agents.
The Aaron Jones injury must be worse than expected. One reason the Packers let Jonesy go and signed Josh Jacobs, was because Aaron Jones is fragile. Cam Akers scares no one. Good luck though Queens.
Traded a guy picked up off the trash heap for draft capital once the top two backs returned from injury. Just another day at the Caserio Pawn shop. Not much fuss from me
He may have been in line to be cut and this is the way to get value. He may just fit MIN better. I've heard nothing bad about his clubhouse demeanor, so it can only help MIN and Houston's reputation..
Not trying to b****, but don't really see the upside to this move. I'd rather have Akers on the roster.
I get people wanting to stockpile for injuries, but Caserio just flipped a training camp signing for a couple potential picks. I don't hate it. We only have 53 roster spots.
They might want to trade for a high end CB. It is currently a more useful Roster spot than a 4th RB. It might indicate Harris' return this year is questionable.
It looks like the immediate decision might have been who would get cut when they activated Hinish off IR. We got something rather than nothing for Cam which is great management by Nick. There are non roster participants in practice like Denico Autry for this week. There is also participation for players potentially coming off IR so a better decision can be made. There is a maximum of 21 days before you have to activate them or send them back to the IR. But many details are beyond my search capability.
