I saw Terry Moran’s report and I don’t recall him saying that. He did say that Trump appeared to enjoy it and mingled with the crowd. I will note the though that many criticism of Harris have criticized her dancing on stage yet are defending Trump swaying around and not answering questions.
No offense to Joe Stalin but our system for all its faults is a little better than 1920 Soviet Union. In fact the more votes cast the harder it is to claim fraud under our system.
I don't doubt that but there has been a mass amount of election workers retiring because it's not worth the trouble. In red states you can imagine who they're being replaced with. Federal oversight of the southern states should still be in effect, but hey that's another conversation. Election worker turnover has reached historic highs ahead of the 2024 vote, new data shows https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/el...r-turnover-historic-high-2024-vote-rcna145833
right...the only thing you can do is vote. we can worry about it not counting later if they don't count it.
All I said was that GOP loyalist are basically in positions to count votes in vital swing states. Go vote brah, everyone needs to... I'm not even gonna ask why you can't see a simple gif image.
you should go rewatch his report then. his exact words were: "people had a field day with that (Trump dancing) and I guess on the screens it looked strange. Inside the hall however, it wasn't that at all. People were having a good time. It was intimate. After the concert, Trump came down from the stage was mingling with his supporters"
A couple of things. People that were present for the Howard Dean yell, said it didn't play poorly live, but on TV it looked insane and it sank his run for the nomination. This makes Trump look like he lost it. He looks awkward, weird, and it is a bad headline and look less than 24 days before the election. Trump's own campaign flashed a plea to him to please answer more questions. He didn't. So in the end, the damage had been done. People already were doubting his cognitive ability, he's been canceling press interviews, left and right. So this incident combines with those other trends to issue a seemingly damaging narrative. I have no idea how much of a difference it will make. I, personally, don't think it will make that much of a difference. Most Trump voters are willing to write off anything including an attempted coup. So if folks will write that off Trump, having bad optics at a townhall won't be his undoing. But it could definitely strike a nerve with the very small percentage that haven't taken any interest and haven't decided.
Maybe zero difference. Only the politically-tuned-in, like some of us here, noticed at all. I think his people like that he's a weirdo. And I actually thought it was one of the very few events that made him seem more like a believable human being. I was like... he has favorite songs? He enjoys music? Where is the reptilian brain is that located exactly? Meanwhile, why was it so hot in there? Apparently the two folks who got sick were reacting to the heat.
Did they cheap out on a town hall location without modern climate control, or were these cultists trying to summon a demon at the hellmouth? **** planning and execution as usual for the Dump Admin
I mostly agree, but I think zero difference is slightly overstated based on the amount of memes, social media and annoying crap that has focused on it. Decent chance SNL can do something funny with that. #DanaCarveyresurgence
I really liked Dana Carvey's Joe Biden (though it was a little too much like Bush Sr. in a weird way).
