Exactly. That's the point. It's voluntary. Trying to leak info or force someone to release = not voluntary.

He doesn't have to. In the olden days, if a candidate refused to release customary information like this or a tax return, his opponent would use it as a gotcha and voters might have ended up punishing that candidate at the ballot box. Trump is betting refusing to release won't hurt him -- or won't hurt him as much as releasing it would. That's his decision to make. But, that doesn't mean his opponent shouldn't try to capitalize on the gotcha nor that voters shouldn't punish him for it if they choose to.

As for me, I'd be marginally more comfortable with his election if it turns out he is at death's door.

Maybe I'm missing something. Trump would be the oldest person ever elected as President. The voting public is right to expect transparency on his medical condition before an election. Biden did release his medical records before the 2020 election: Biden Releases Medical Records (usnews.com).

 

If it was another candidate, sure, we'd look hypocritical, but with Trump, I would venture to say that it's all on the table. I don't think it makes the democrats look hypocritical at all and instead are just pushing this old buffoons buttons.

 

So Not Tax Returns (still under Audit, i guess...after 8 years) and No Health information. EVERY other candidate has released this information. What is he hiding? We know some of it.....
