Edey will be strong. He's starting, but he needs 30 minutes. If he gets that. The award is his. He will get 10 boards a night.
Sarr will get minutes. He's stating. There's a chance he can accumulate the stats on a team not so good.
Sheppard will be pressed for minutes and has a limited skill set to accumulate any numbers.
Risharde can really shoot, and has nifty glass moves in lane. but the starting lineup is set, and he's not in it. Limited handle and playmaking. All that said, Only three #1 picks in the last 20 years did not put up good stats as a rookie. The Hawks will want to showcase they made the right pick.

I'd put my odds on Risharde for only one reason, the #1 pick almost always produces solid numbers. He has the talent do it if they get him on the court.

It appears to be a deeper class than most expected after only two preseason games.

Edey looking like rookie Yao. Just needs to add a reliable turnaround jumper … or not if he can reliably hit that long-range hook.

To be fair the OP did not specify if this is for the NBA or Gleague ROY race.

He looked really solid in the minutes I saw tonight. He looks like a "smaller" more mobile Yao.

Brother’s “AAAAEEE” sounds even sounds like Yao. I wish we could have gotten him somehow.
