Think we traded one of our 2nds for Diggs. As to your statement on the Oline, I don’t get it. The 3 first rounders are: Tunsil (top-3 LT), Howard, and Green. So our current regime only drafted 1 of those dudes. The second rounder, Scruggs, looks like a keeper. Also, it’s worth noting that early returns on Blake Fisher are quite promising. Not sure where you get “do not draft more and pretend you’ll get better at it please.” Between Green, Scruggs, and Fisher it’s looking like 2/3 are hits.
I guess they look like hits compared to our OLine. But watching the game they don’t. Scruggs gave up a ridiculous sack, Fisher hasn’t been asked to do much and when he has it was against one of the worst DLines in the league. I’m not saying they are garbage and we should dump them, I’m saying if we are going to replace any, do it throughtrsdes and signings. Because we have 3 first rounders and a 2nd rounder in our 5 guy line and some of the worst run-blocking in the league. if you’re happy with the line. Ok. If you’re not happy with the line, do you think they should go back to the draft and spend more capital on it? Also, I don’t care what this regime has drafted. They have decided that this is the group they want. So that’s what I’m basing it off of. And I think we have the most expensive line (draft capital wise) in the league and it’s not showing.
Youc claim you don’t care what regime has drafted which player, but you used where the players were drafted as an argument against this regime’s ability to draft Olinemen in your initial comment that I replied to. To answer your question: yes, I would be fine spending more draft capital on the Oline. If our first 2 picks in next year’s draft are 2 guards, I’d be totally down.
Ok I’m looking at the NFLPA site about policy and it says players get tested once yearly for anabolics etc and in season for like the class a stuff ie cocaine, weed, mdma and AMPHETAMINES (ADDERAL). Fair, I understand the flaws in my argument, we just don’t have time to develop new guys. We need to get going while we have cj on the cheap. And I like juice in the middle. But this regime spent a first on Kenyon green, 2nd on juice, 2nd on fisher and traded a 5th for Mason. I think Fisher replaces Howard eventually, so we just need an LG and a RG and I would rather trade for those or get in FA. Because the 2 guards this regime has brought in haven’t worked. we’ll see what the draft board looks like before I decide what I want, but I think LB and DT should be first there.
