When the Texans beat the Packers 34 to 28 dominating time of possession with their run game, "How are we going to beat the young Flacco. He already threw for 1,000 yards that first time in Houston!?!"
Good complete win by the Texans today. It wasn't perfect, but they shored up a lot of areas that they had been struggling in so far this season. Running game being effective? check Penalties under control? check Turning pressures into sacks? check Schultz had a really tough game, hope he bounces back. I'm sure he's stewing on the yards and a TD he left on the field today with his drops (that pick should've been a TD). Not going to turn on him yet, bad games happen.
Posters were wondering why the Texans were having issues running the ball, it's obvious what a difference a top tier RB can make.
Yeah it is unfortunately, I hope it's not something else going on, he's seemed a bit disinterested this season. His blocking has always been a minus but he made up for it with his route running and hands, and those haven't been quite up to snuff so far this season... You'd figure he'd be pumped considering he just got extended.
If I was a degenerate I would put everything on the Packers. Matt Lafleur is a top 3 offensive mind in the NFL and a top 5 coach. He’s gonna absolutely destroy Demeco and his blind faith in Pitre.
We’ve been missing Mixon for a while. It’s crazy how much of a difference he makes to our offense in a positive way.
