And in that very clip she says first she would sign the border security bill that will write into law several measures they care currently only executive orders while also greatly increasing funding to border security. In the clip she emphasizes a pathway to citizenship. Not a guarantee for citizenship. To remind people Reagan signed a similar bill and Republicans as recently as GW Bush and Romney supported similar policies.
But they didn't actively fly in unvetted immigrants and they didn't house them in hotels and they didn't bring them in from all over the world to turn them into voters in swing states.
Under Reagan certainly immigrants were flown in. Many of the Hmong were flown in during the Reagan years. So were the Vietnamese boat people many who have settled in Texas and other states. There was a reason why Reagan dealt with this issue because the same claims were made in the 80’s they our country was being invaded. We even have clutchfans whose parents came here during that wave. As far as this thing about immigrants being turned into voters in swing states. You know better than most that immigrants can’t vote. It takes a minimum of five years to get citizenship And even then it’s not guaranteed.
These Republicans were right. Let's hear what George H Bush and Ronald Reagan had to say about Immigration. DD
We hosted a Vietnamese family - after the Vietnam war, the father was a dentist and had to get recertified here in the USA - he eventually did, it was cool..... Funny story, he LOVED riding our mower, it was the kids job to mow, but once he rode that mower he wouldn't let anyone else do it...he had a smile while he rode that thing.....couldn't stop grinning. Talking about vetting. This guy tried to blow up a cinema in the German city of Krefeld yesterday. Police stopped him by shooting him. This Iranian guy had 27 identities and has been committing violent crimes across Europe for many years. Most German mainstream media calls him "someone from Krefeld", hiding his nationality and background. Police says it is not a terror attack.
So it's bad to have access to food from other cultures? Or were we supposed to be scared and angry because they wore modest clothing some people aren't used? Can you explain what was bad about that, other than some poor parking?
I just posted this in the Kamala Harris for President thread but might as well post this again here. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/u-s-mexico-border-migrant-crossings-reach-new-biden-era-low/ Far from us having an open border as many claim border crossings are decreasing since Biden's Executive Orders. Harris has said she will push for and sign into law the Bipartisan bill which will make those policies permanent along with increasing funding for border security.
It was what leftists like you and Islamists like to see. The fact that you cannot even fathom that for someone who grew up in England, suddenly living in Pakistan - with all that comes with it - is not what they ever wanted for their children, particularly daughters, or voted for - says it all.
I see you are going with the "people should be scared of folks who wear clothing different than what they're used to seeing" route. Outside of that, you haven't said anything at all.
