The “money” person isn’t too bothered by it. We will see what the engineers say, if it’s salvageable I’ll be making a trip to do some tear down and see what we need. Was already a complete remodel. But there was some pretty good wash out under the building foundation. So we will see
Some indications that the AirBnB type properties in Florida are being put up for sale at a higher rate than normal. Increasing insurance rates and constant threats of disasters and rebuilding might do that. Something to watch over the next few months as we get better data. Incidentally, one of the factors of the Great Depression was the Florida land boom/bust just before the 1929 stock market crash.
