    I loved Whittaker and Trammel so much…I don’t recall watching them before the 87 season, but I think that was the year they won a bunch of games down the stretch to get in playoff contention…but lost in game 163 which was a day game and I happened to be legitimately home sick that day. If you have to be sick, meaningful day game baseball is a lovely distraction.

    I enjoyed it…it’s a love story in the backdrop of a guy pitching a new hitter…he’s zoning out thinking about her and the end of his career quickly approaching. Can be super cheesy but a lot of good movies are I guess lol :)

    Good baseball movies- the natural, bad news bears, major league, the monty stratton story, 8 men out, the sandlot, bull durham (although very dated now), mr. Baseball.
