Who cares? Like does anybody actually care what Elon Musk's personal feelings are on his "lack of respect". I certainly don't.

LIke, maybe Ro Khanna is indeed, right, and lack of a personal invitation to the white house was what turned Elon Musk into a conspiracy-theory addled neo nazi MAGA goon - that sounds a lot like an elon musk problem for which he is at fault - of being triggered by petty slights to turn into a crazed ketamine white power nutjob who hates his own kids - rather than a Democratic Party or a Joseph R. Biden problem. Sounds like he needs therapy, of some sort.

Also this sounds - *extremely implausible* - those nutty sociopath tendencies were always there, but whatever, let's pretend like it's true.

I mean, unless you're a Elon Musk fanboi, which we have established a number of you are. In that case, I can see why you'd see it's a big problem and you'd parasocially feel like it's a slight to you, personally.

Ro Khanna floated a ridiculous theory - that Elon Musk, who apparently has zero agency in the matter, is such a damaged man-baby that even a minor perceived slight regarding WH invitations is at risk of turning into a raving Nazi sociopath who consumes a chum bucket of the dumbest conspiracy theories in existence.

Again, even if this theory were *true* (it's obviously not, but it's Ro's theory) - I don't get what lesson we are supposed to learn from it, and if the lesson is, walk on eggshells aroudn mentally deranged billiojaires and make them feel special because they'll try to destroy the country like teh evil wishmaster kid in that old Twilight Zone episode if they feel slighted - the corrective action I would take would be different than appeasing them.

I guess you - being an Elon fanboi - believe the opposite, that he should be kowtowed to. That's fine and unsurprising. Anyway, the fact that he now owns Twitter, agaisnt his will, after being legally compelled to do so, is probably teh funniest manifestation of why forcing that clown to play by the rules is indeed - funnier - than being a yes man and laughing at his terrible jokes and letting him do whatever he wants and break the law and etc.

What is hypothetical?

Elon has become a hardcore MAGA freak/nutter, spouting & boosting white supremacist conspiracy theories, lighting millions of dollars on fire - all in service of a manifestly unfit brain addled felon/traitor/criminal etc.

These aren't hypotheticals - these are just - things that have happened in the last few years/months/days

The hypothetical is Ro Khanna, who is arguing that, had Elon been invited to the white house in 2021, none of the previous would have occurred. You posted this hypo & asked for comment & you got it: unlikely, but even if true, don't care, let Elon stew and scream into the void as his MAGA bet goes south is a pretty damned optimal outcome, which I am fine with, but which you think is sad.

I took your argument (or at least the one Ro Khanna made) and offered my response - as requested, which is basically meh. I'd be as excited about Elon being a Democrat as I am about Reed Hoffman or Mark Cuban any of the other high profile billionaires - not at all/don't care
