SBs aren't always on the catcher If you watched the Astros the past couple of years you already know this.
check out this topic https://www.motownforums.com/topic/2039-pitchingmanaging-disaster/ I think Hinch is a hypocritical, arrogant, smug, lying dirtbag. While he may not be the number 1 problem, he certainly isn't the solution.
My heart wants them to win but I don’t think they would beat the Yankees. My brain wants Cleveland to win
I think Detroit wins over Cleveland but they do not have the pitching to beat the Stanks in a 7 game series. Hope I'm wrong.
Detroit's magic will wear off eventually, they have had the benefit of playing short series so far. They have Skubal and then everything else is basically a bullpen game. That will work in a best of 3, and they had the extremely good luck of getting the Kevin Brown special: an extra off day between games 1 and 2 that allows Skubal to start Game 5 on regular rest. In a 7 game series you need more than one viable starter, and it looks like Carpenter is hurt now. For the sake of having the best chance to knock out the Stanks, Cleveland needs to pull this off.
I should’ve said that the fire has been absent since they won it all in ‘22. they sleepwalked through the ‘23 season too
That’s exactly what I think. It’s been such a miserable baseball season already. Please don’t let it be dodgers and Yankees in the World Series
They should have been fired up as **** after losing to the rangers and blowing their home games. Maybe next year will get them going.
I don’t disagree with the logic. In every full season since 2017 either the Astros or the team that beat the Astros has won the World Series. So maybe Detroit’s magic won’t wear off.
