Okay and? I did but of course mine was more from a positive angle, whereas the other was negative. Big difference leroy "All those people over there are genuine and don't believe in that crazy crap" "All those people over there are stupid and crazy" Both are generalizations but not the same. Stop with this your side my side garbage and pretending like there aren't BS conspiracies from both. The holier than thought attitude from the left is highly stupid.
I literally just gave you a link to the NOAA. Why don't you click it and find out for yourself? Why are you being all weird about this when it's the US Government from all levels who openly says they cloud seed? Why do you think it is a crazy conspiracy when they admit it. Are you waiting for CNN to confirm for you what's already listed on government sources?
Thank you for reiterating my point. You first mentioned this as way to clearly Sane Wash MTG, and Trump. It was clearly a.... "well there is some truth to that..." statement with a clear agenda.
So MAGA believes in climate change now? If we're able to manipulate the weather to create hurricanes, then by extension it seems reasonable to believe that we could alter the climate with hundreds of years of carbon and methane emissions. Seems like a weird kind of cognitive dissonance to think that human activity has no effect on the climate but the government can also create massive climate events on demand.
I’ve known cloud seeding has been a thing…. What does that have to do with your replying to MTG’s tweet about the government controlling weather in the context of hurricanes…. What does cloud seeding have to do with hurricanes?
That’s the pot calling the kettle black. Maybe don’t defend MTG and her conspiracy theories ….. that’s a good place to start. The religious right who is actively promoting Christian nationalism literally has a holier than though attitude….
Yep. When you try and SaneWash the insanity that comes out of the mouth of MAGA/Trump then you have no sort of high ground to stand on saying you are offering some sort of objective take.
Are you really equating cloud seeding with what MTG is saying? Either your being intellectually dishonest or you have the same IQ as MTG.
So there is no truth behind government attempts to modify the weather? Is cloud seeding not modifying/attempting to control the weather? What is the point of cloud seeding then. Explain Yall are so caught up in your partisan takes you can't state the simple fact that yes governments do try to modify/control the weather (that occurs naturally) through methods like cloud seeding, among others such as: Hail suppression (done in Canada since 96, Russia since the 00s) Fog dissipation (happens at many airports like SFO) Hurricane modification (Project Stormfury 1962-1983) ionospheric Heating (HAARP in Alaska) Artificial Cloud Cover (being studied at Harvard) Next you'll say these are all fake even thoigh governments do this without hiding, and should be well known.
WTH are you guys arguing about? Absolutely, the government and everyone want to control the weather. Imagine the use case if you could control it. Mankind always wants control. They have not been successful. eg. Cloud seeding is statistically insignificant. 1 & 2 have nothing to do with the ridiculous claims that the government is controlling hurricanes, which are being pushed by right-wing politicians and influencers. #3 (and so many more dumb claims) happens because Trump politicized a natural disaster and he himself is lying about the government. #4 is causing real harm to victims of the recent hurricanes.
My mother is in the hospital currently because she refused to see the doctor because of stomach pain until it became unbearable. She let her gallbladder burst and waited it out until it got infected/gangrene. She’s doing fine but had to have a much more complicated surgery because she waited so long to get it checked out. The weird MAGA conspiracy **** has made my parents anti-medicine. Actively trying to kill American citizens with stupidity.
This is just sad. He would have $750 in immediate assistance, plus a room shortly after that. He would likely qualify for around $40k (that figure is from about 8 years ago, so it might be more now) to help rebuild his home, assuming insurance doesn’t cover it all (most in that region has no flood insurance). If he goes through the approval process, he can also write off his loss as a tax deduction. He is literally losing $40k+ and possibly much more, depending on his circumstances.
Isn't there a legal precedence ala Alex Jones and Sandy Hook to prosecute and/or sue such gross misdirection by public figures like Trump? These lies cost lives. @Nook
Lololol… Project Stormfury was an attempt to weaken hurricanes. Yes or no, the US government put the hurricanes on the path to Florida
That is sad but to be blunt I'm not sure why the MAGA movement keeps trying to kill their voters. I'd think they would have learned from Covid...
