She should get neither - she isn't the President and she didn't dictate policy. However - it is politics - so one side will blame her for everything that happened over the last 4 years and the other side will praise her for everything positive that has happened over the last 4 years. George Bush Sr. wasn't the same as Reagan... Gore wasn't the same as Clinton... Pence and Trump are different.... Obama and Biden are different .... so other than party being the same, the VP and President usually are not carbon copies. It really is bizarre to me and always has been - but it is the world we live in.
A good post. Today's Republican Party is nothing remotely like the modern GOP prior to 2016, something I think few would argue. Ronald Reagan (who I voted against twice), couldn't sniff the Republican nomination after that same year, were he able to run and the age he was in 1980, in my opinion. I think Reagan was a flawed president, but trump is a psychotic compulsive liar who cares only for himself and, I assume, his children. That description wouldn't fit Mr. Reagan at all, but fits trump like a glove. trump's first term was a national catastrophe. If, because we as a nation have become cursed, the creature manages to steal the presidency and has a second term, those four years will be far worse.

Explain the hundreds of Republican officials and former Trump cabinet members, including respected and decorated generals, who say Trump is unfit for office, a threat to democracy, and are supporting Harris, with whom they have nothing in common. Let me guess … they are the swamp (even the ones that Trump hand picked to serve in his cabinet and as VP) and they’re just jealous of the Donald because he is anti establishment (or some other mindless drivel like this?)
Does Trump derangement syndrome ever get tiresome? The sensitivity of people that can't handle mean comments is quite amusing but not surprising by now. Look, lets be honest. The main reason soft folk don't want another Trump term is because they don't like him. I don't believe that you believe that Trump is an actual threat to democracy, it sounds good from a political standpoint but we know its bs. The same way that Trump says that we won't have a country anymore if Kamala is elected, it sounds good from a political stance to his supporters but if Kamala wins in no way do I feel like we just lost the country. I get why people dislike Trump, they have every right to. What I don't agree with is the denial that Trump's first terms was very good when he had no business even running for president. He was a better president than a life long politician in Joe Biden and yes he is the best option for this country at this point. Are there better options than Trump and Kamala? Of course, there are way better options but that's not what's on the table.... Voting should be an obligation to this country and what's best for it in the next 4 years and not a chance to pick the candidate that is running against the man you hate because of your emotions. Trump lies, Kamala lies, all politicians lie.. They campaign and bs their supporters for months to gain our votes and then accomplish only a tiny percentage of their promises. Trump isn't going to magically fix every issue and neither is Kamala but we can snap back to reality as adults and think things through.

Trump already stated many of the officials denouncing him are bitter because they got fired. None of the die hard "Republicans" supporting Harris are liked or accepted by conservatives. Not because they support Harris but because they are absolute trash human beings and corrupt af, I wouldn't be proud that these Republicans are supporting my candidate. These are political parties, not gangs... This isn't crips vs bloods..... There also Democrats supporting Trump, these things happen all the time. Politicians aren't exactly loyal to anything but themselves and what gives them the best chance to get ahead. Trump is fit for office, you can't erase 2016 from people's brains and insert what ever you feel like. Trump did hold office and those 4 years is why he will win again in a few weeks. I believe what you are saying is that these hundreds of Republican officials are not liked or accepted by Trumpers, who could really give a rats ass about traditional conservative values. As for 2016-2020, that is far, far from erased. People vividly remember the upside down Bible, good people on both sides, Clorox bleach, UV lights, sharpies to draw hurricanes, Covid denial, oh yes, the Big Lie and Jan 6. We are still waiting for his infrastructure week, wall paid for by Mexico, and alternative to Obamacare. The bright side is that those who did not panic in the market still made gains of 68% in the SP500 over those 4 years. Not quite as good as Biden, but then again, not bad for a moron. Trump was a **** show and we saw what unfit for office was, loud and clear.
