National League on the verge of their bye week division winners going 0-6 since 2022. They currently hold a 5-16 record in the NLDS since the 2022 playoffs. Egad. 2022-2023 those 4 teams only managed 3 wins in total. Astros in the AL won both their ALDS series, Baltimore 2023 lost. 2022 Yankees won. So almost the opposite has happened in the AL. But both teams this year might be in trouble.

I want the Yankees to win. Not because I like them. I just want the Astros to be the only team they can never overcome. The Astros are their forever kryptonite. Having said that, it would be hard to stomach seeing smug Judge holding the World Series trophy at a parade.
Besides Manfred, one of baseball's biggest obstacles in "growing the game" is the national writers that cover it. Pound for pound, the most arrogant, obnoxious assholes in sports media.
