So why do red states have higher crime? It can't be because of blue cities because blue states have blue cities. Obviously you have a reading comprehension defect. The article clearly stated she would be working with other countries, not that she was in charge of the border.
I personally don’t look at the political party in control of cities and draw conclusions. Yes- there are suburbs that do well. Some are conservative and some are not. There are a lot of liberal suburbs around Chicago and some conservative ones. I just find the line of argument used by some to be silly. At the city level the political parties matter less.
I just looked at some data and it seems very mixed between the parties with regards to violent crime rates and who is governor and mayor.
No - I do not buy that Democratic mayors result in more crime. First, political ideology at the city level varies greatly and often times candidates join whatever party can lead to electoral success. Likewise I don’t buy that crime is worse under Republican mayors either. As for Kamala and her role with the border - there are direct quotes that her involvement was limited to working and figuring out ways in the long term to slow illegal immigration. She made it very clear at the time the limitation of her duty.
It is mixed - it depends on the particular mayor, the time they govern and other factors. I can also tell you that sometimes a Republican in Chicago would be a Democrat in Texas - because of local variances. Also - there are Republicans in Illinois that run as Democrats so they can have a chance to be elected.
Agreed, however the original post I quoted correlated Tim Walz (The governor) to what was happening in a specific city in his state. So I just provided more examples using that same correlation. I'm sure you saw that post I quoted, but strangely you had nothing to say about it.
Also a lot of mayors tend to be more pragmatic and less ideological in their approaches given the issues they face in the local Level.
There is a thread in hangout about some suburbs of Houston have been named best small cities. In the link where that came from though several Minnesota cities are listed including almost every suburb of the Twin Cities and Mankato where Walz represented and still has a home. https://wallethub.com/edu/best-worst-small-cities-to-live-in/16581 Not bad for a burnt out wasteland riven by Socialism and Sharia law.
Pretty funny and Maya Rudolph, Jim Gaffigan and Dana Carvey are great as Harris, Walz and Biden. I also wasn’t expecting Aidy Bryant to play Vance as she’s played Ted Cruz but Bowen Yang nails. I got a pretty good chuckle about the Minnesota isn’t a horny place. And for the reasons stated. One of the SNL’s better cold opens and hits pretty evenly across the political Divide.
Talk about weird socialism. Walz is deploying the Minnesota National Guard to help Florida prepare the Hurricane Milton. Hes such a socialist he’s sharing Minnesota resources to help fellow Americans even in a red state. https://www.kaaltv.com/news/governo...uard-to-assist-florida-with-hurricane-milton/ Governor Walz authorizes Minnesota National Guard to assist Florida with Hurricane Milton (ABC 6 News) – Minnesota Governor Tim Walz (DFL) has authorized the Minnesota National Guard to provide emergency assistance to Florida ahead of Hurricane Milton. The authorization, deemed Emergency Executive Order 24-12, was put into effect by Walz on Monday, according to a press release. “Minnesota will provide every resource we can to support communities across the south that have been devastated this hurricane season,” said Walz. “In this time of crisis, Minnesota’s first responders have demonstrated unyielding dedication. Their efforts are making a critical difference.” Milton, now a Category 5 hurricane, is rapidly intensifying and expected to overwhelm emergency response teams in Florida. Florida has requested assistance and support from first responders. This falls under the Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC). According to the press release, the Minnesota National Guard is working with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety Homeland Security and Emergency Management division to determine mission requirements. Several Minnesota teams are also on site in North Carolina and South Carolina. This includes the Minnesota National Guard, St. Louis County Mobile Command Post, and the Minnesota All Hazard Incident Management Team. Each group is there to assist with recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Helene, which has now killed over 230 people. Walz’s Emergency Executive Order will stay in effect until National Guard resources are no longer required, or until November 6, according to the press release.
Well since you helped politicized disaster relief help with your opener, of course Walz would do this considering the backlash that happened against the current admin/VP for the response with Helene. And good for Walz to be doing this
You’d do a better job than whoever his current puppet master is. Near the MN Capitol? Maybe you just need to connect with his team.
So it was @rocketsjudoka that helped politicize it and not the dishonest social media posts from posters that are supporting Trump?@basso I tagged him because he cowardly tries to pretend that since he isn't voting for him, he isn't supporting Trump. Of course he only makes posts critical of Trump's opponent, so he absolutely is supporting him, no matter who he votes for.
Lol. Again he switched June and August. Did any of these folks concerned with honesty from the VP address the lies from the presidential candidate of the Republicans, who claimed that he actually won the 2020 election. Claimed Mexico would pay for the wall, claimed that he'd replace the ACA with a plan in two weeks (that was 9 years ago). Were they bothered by the lies that Haitian immigrants were eating people's pets in Springfield? Were they bothered by any of those lies or only the one from the candidate who switched June and August 35 years ago? Laughable and a weak effort
