I’m keeping McVeigh. Dante has no purpose on this team.

 

Huh? Mcveigh already has a 2 way contract. We dont need to cut anyone for him.

 

I see a lot of confusion lol.

The NBA allows 15 players and 3 two ways on their team. However in the offseason they are allowed to expand their roster up to 21 players. These additional players can all be signed to exhibit 10 contracts which are unguaranteed contracts, the NBA team can terminate these contracts before the season starts.

The Rockets have 3 two ways signed:
Nfaly Dante
Nate/Jeenathan Williams
Mcveigh
^These 3 likely will remain as they already have contracts.

Rockets also have 14 guys on the roster already, that leaves one spot which is the spot of the Jesus dude. Therefore there is one spot which will be fought for by:
Thong Maker
Samuels
Hinton
Maker

Whoever is chosen will have a min one year deal due to the Exhibit 10. The others have the option to remain with the GLeague for an additional bonus. Personally I like Thong but we also didnt keep JRE last year so it might be Samuels or Hinton instead I dunno.

 

I didn't say anyone needed to be cut for him. The Rockets have 1 open spot. They can sign him to a guaranteed contract.

McVeigh can be a shooter off the bench. Maker as the fifth string center is useless.

Why the hell would you want Mcveigh to be in the playoff rotation?

They are both useless tbh. Thong can also shoot 3s and provide defense at the PF spot.
