This account appears to be of a media person in the Tampa area.

I can't find it but I saw one of the models was indicating the possibility of another Gulf hurricane after Milton hitting Florida.

I found some discussion about the possibility of Florida getting another Hurricane around October 17. It might originate in or near the same area that Milton did.

I will look around for something suitable for presentation here.

For all the great adult cartoons that I love, Bugs and Looney Tunes may still be my all time fav.

    Hope this hurricane spares everyone.

Milton is really looking like it could be bad with 12 foot storm surge and maintaining hurricane strength all the way across Florida.

Thanks - no, staying. I hope it won't be that bad by the time it gets to the East Coast.

This may be the dreaded worst case scenario. A strong cat 4/5 coming in just north of Tampa. Everyone even remotely close to the bay should get out now.

Maybe not appropriate but I find I'm amused that this absolute beast of a storm inherited a milquetoast of a name like Milton. Milton should be reserved for a Cat1/tropical storm that fizzles out. Rename it Hurricane Chad before it's too late. Forida Man ain't gonna flee from some nerd named Milton

Just saw that Milton could hit Tampa Bay with a 15 foot storm surge. That is a two story house. Also this storm could reach Orlando still at hurricane strength and even Jacksonville at hurricane strength. It's going to cut a swath across three of FL's largest metro areas.

This could be a very bad storm and anyone in it's path shouldn't take chances.

Fortunately it will be moving fast by the time it gets to Orlando - main risk is losing power for a long stretch and tornadoes. Flooding for parts as it looks like it is drawing moisture across the state ahead of the storm.

But Tampa is going to face a potentially Cat 3/4 storm that is large in size. If it lands near or anywhere north of tampa the bay will flood the city with that kind of storm surge.

Cue the climate deniers thoughts and prayers
