Sigh, Jalen getting blocked by Jack Mcveigh at the rim doesn’t exactly inspire confidence that we will see any kind of leap…

Today Amen and Reed beating the starters. FVV, Jalen and Jabari is not going to cut it. The offense dynamics don't look good with those 3

I'm not worried about him getting blocked at the rim by anyone with a pulse, he'll always get blocked a lot.

What i care about is if he can hit his 3's. That's going to be the key to him turning his career around

Wasn't there a bit of evidence last season which showed there was a common denominator in whatever mixture of players you wanted to use - they had a negative effect on basically all of them.

That common denominator is mentioned in those three names.

Bobby Hurley dominated Magic and Stockton.

Not the game. Not the game. Practice.

If Reed had one or two starters with him, he would have won easily, team gray was pretty good.

Only Cam's body language this session was not productive. Not sure what happened there.

And where was Adams? Only saw Nfaly Dante?

You know he had 43 games where he did exactly that .... shooting a combined .175 from distance (that's actually worse than 3/17 which is .176).

No, he can't do that - at least not that many times. That's exactly what has to be limited for him to be an useful player, you can stand a handful of those, 3-4 maybe 5? but not 51% of the season, hell 10% would be too much.

I am kinda optimistic that he puts it together this season - all the reports and videos of him working on his shooting & balance are encouraging.

Comparing Jalen in year 3 to Cam in year one isn't really a good comparison, I think we all remember how bad Jalen was as a ball handler as a rookie - Silas tried to run him as the lone guard a few times and it was a disaster, he couldn't get the ball across half court and he couldn't run a pick and roll to save his life.

He's made tremendous improvement as a ball handler from year 1 to year 3 - Why can't Cam make a similar improvement.

How do the numbers from each players rookie season compare ?

I see Cam more as a wing....but that is just me. Maybe he will develop as a swiss army knife but that is more Amen's m.o.

I've been very critical of Jalen's shooting .... But I don't think he takes "a lot of bad shots" or that he's a "chucker", he just doesn't make enough shots period - hell he shot .270 on wide open 3's - those are shots he has to take in the flow of the offense.
