Actually it is wise to look at them from disreputble sources.

Trump pledges to rename Army base after Confederate general
Fort Liberty, previously known as Fort Bragg, was renamed in 2022 as part of a sweeping Army push to change the names of installations honoring Confederate soldiers.

Donald Trump says that North Carolina’s Fort Liberty would once again become Fort Bragg if he’s reelected — less than two years after the base was renamed to remove the name of a Confederate general as part of efforts to reckon with the legacy of racism.

Trump, who opposed the change as president, pledged to restore Fort Bragg’s name during a town hall Friday in the nearby city of Fayetteville, home to many troops and veterans.

“I think I just learned the secret to winning absolutely and by massive margins. I’m going to promise to you … that we’re going to change the name back to Fort Bragg,” the former president said after taking a question about missile defense from a man who identified himself as an active duty soldier at the base.

The military renamed nine installations, including Fort Bragg, as part of a 2021 congressionally mandated process to remove the names of Confederate soldiers that followed widespread social justice protests after the murder by police of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

The North Carolina base was named for Gen. Braxton Bragg, who enslaved people in addition to being a Confederate general with a reputation for battlefield failure.

Fort Bragg and other bases in the south were named for Confederates before and during World War I to build support for the conflict in the South, according to the Department of Defense.

Trump, while in office, vetoed a bipartisan military spending bill in part because it included a recommendation to change the name of Fort Bragg and eight other installations. Congress overrode the veto and Fort Liberty was adopted at the recommendation of a commission following a public comment period.

Former Vice President Mike Pence and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called for restoring the name Fort Bragg during the Republican primary.

Trump also pledged other changes in the military if reelected.

“We have a great military, and we have a military that’s not woke,” he said. “You may have a few people at the top who are woke, and we’re going to get rid of them so damn fast your head is gonna spin.”

I’m sure there are Iranians who feel thet way but reimposing sanctions on Iran and assasinating their leaders has made it harder for reform groups in Iran.

Sanctions tend to fall harder in the general population than the leaders while external threats give the Mullahs reason to rally support.

So your point is … see, I found some edible food while rummaging around in a trash can (your ridiculous right wing outlet), and that edible food came from the restaurant. So I should keep rummaging around trash cans for food.

That is an excellent plan …. If you like consuming trash.

I can tell you that @Scarface281 is consistently in the middle segment of the right wing human centipede (for example, yesterday he was arguing in favor of - Marjorie Taylor Greene's point that Democrats ("They") had used "cloud seeding" to control the weather and cause Hurricane Helene to elect Harris. It's apparently " straight from government websites" per @Scarface281 (?!?)

    **** in, **** out.

Why are dip$hit supporters so violently intolerant? Is it because they get their "news" from trash websites?

Texas bakery threatened for making cookies featuring Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz

A Texas bakery is seeing major backlash after posting pictures of its politically themed sugar cookies. According to the Dallas Morning News, Hive Bakery owner Haley Popp has even received death threats online.

Before it was targeted this week, Hive Bakery was an award-winning pastry shop and two-time Food Network champion in Flower Mound. Before Tuesday’s vice-presidential debate, Popp took to Instagram to show off her latest creation: sugar cookies decorated with the likeness of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Popp told the Dallas Morning News her Walz cookies sold out. That's also when the unkind comments rolled in. Most notably, Popp saw members of Flower Mound Cares, a private neighborhood Facebook group, targeting her and the business. Users called for the business and “all the gay people in it” to burn, prompting Popp to contact the authorities.

I used to go there all the time when I lived in that area. It is a great place. Their banana bread and pistachio bread is awesome. My wife liked their oatmeal cream pies. I also used to be on the Flower Mound Cares Facebook page. They are all bunch of hateful whackjobs.

Freaking nutjobs. The MAGA crazies get outraged over such ridiculous crap, but don't give a damn that Trump is a felon, a pathological liar, a racist, and a sociopath who is deteriorating mentally every damn day. That's some real crazy extremism for people to call for the business and “all the gay people in it” to burn. I hope they arrest those sickos.

Makes a great point supported with so much relevant and on point evidence. This really says a ton about the work both candidates are doing, and so accurately described.

I should point out, also backed equally by solid evidence and support, that Kamala is working hard at colonizing planets throughout the universe while Trump is building sculptures from his used diapers at Mar-a-Lago

Elon Musk was busy spreading his propaganda and lies with Trump onstage at a Trump rally.

“The true test of someone’s character is how they behave under fire. We had one president who couldn’t climb a flight of stairs and another who was fist pumping after getting shot,” Musk said, swiping at President Biden.

F*ck Musk and his sickening su*king up to the guy without a single shred of morals. Trump is the last person you could trust because his lying is pathological. He has no character. None. He's a lying grifting fraud. Musk and Trump are just two greedy right wing racist liars who will say or do anything for power and money.

Musk has backed Save America PAC, an outside group that has taken on a leading role in get out the vote efforts for the Trump campaign. He repeatedly urged attendees on Saturday to register to vote, and he claimed without evidence that 2024 would be “the last election” if Democrats win in November.

Last election my ass! What a fear mongering spreader. He and Trump are two peas in a pod. They just spread their conspiracies, lies, and right wing propaganda to get what they want, and don't give a damn who they put in harms way in the process.

Democrats have pushed for expanded voting rights laws, though Republicans have argued that their rivals have sought to make it easier for non-citizens to vote. There is little evidence to show that large numbers of non-citizens are voting.

Musk is right to support Trump, but making fun of Biden's mental and physical disabilities is wrong.
