    This isn't largely true.

Maybe there are small enclaves in NYC, but I can say for certain that in places like Chicago and Los Angeles and Houston - there are no Jewish neighborhoods and there are not Jewish law neighborhoods. There are small groups of Hasidic Jews in NYC that are almost like a cult that are very tight, but they are a small group and have no real presence outside of NY.

Most Jews in the USA are not religious and live in Middle Class areas with other Middle Class people.

This isn't the case in the USA. I cannot speak for other parts of the world.

As for them being the chosen people - I have had this discussion with some Israeli's I know - that they have a sense of entitlement.

I have never ran into this issue in the USA though.

They still view themselves as nominally Jewish - many of them can trace their heritage back to the Middle East.

I don't know how we got to this discussion, but I do get confused with regards to the question "Are Jews a race or a religion, or both".

When I spoke to my acquaintance who is Netanyahu's biographer, I said something about "the Jewish religion", and he corrected me and said "the Jewish race". I didn't say anything and made a mental note to google the topic later...which I haven't really done yet.

I have a good friend who did 23andme and it came back as 100 % Ashkenazi and I was like...woah...how disciplined were your ancestors?!?!?!?! I'm like a mix from all kinds of countries (outside of Africa). Not Ashkenazi or Sephardic though.

It depends on which Jew you ask.

There are debates about it within the Jewish community.

Orthodox Jews believe it all comes down to your mothers blood lines - and that one cannot convert to Judaism, you are or you are not.

There are other Jews that believe you can convert - so it is all religion/faith based.

There are a lot of people in the USA that are not practicing Jews - and often times will be a quarter or half Jew - and still identify as a Jew or secular Jews.

I keep hiring really smart people and not really thinking about what race/religion they are and then it turns out they are Jewish. I would argue that they must be smarter on average than the average person in the world. I assume that is largely cultural, strong emphasis on education, etc., not that different from Koreans and some Indians.

In NYC and westhester county there are most absolutely Hasidic enclaves. The rest of the Jewish folks live all over. There are Chinese communities, Latin American, and of course black neighborhoods. Many others…

I think Spring valley by Ramapo has a huge hasidic and Lebovich population.
They have their own kosher chicken processing plant. Shokites with knives baby.

I'm currently listening to My Effin Life by Geddy Lee. He gives a lot of good insight to being a jew who didn't practice to coming back to embrace his forgotten religion or race or both.

There are in Chicago as well.

The black neighborhoods have been around a long time.

There is Chinatown and Little Mexico - but those areas are made up of recent immigrants, all of the 2nd and 3rd generation Chinese and Mexicans move out of the area into the general area.

There used to be Little Italy, Little Ireland and Little Poland - but they are all basically gone as everyone by the third generation had moved out.

The one exception is the black part of town - it is segregated. There are black people that have moved out, it only has half the people it did 50 years ago ---- but it is the one area that isn't first generation that is segregated.

The Chinese, or a least their children do tend to end up drifting to wherever but we still have three distinct chinatowns…

Has Chicago changed in the last 20 years? There used to be distinct areas. The Russians had their own area. The Polish had their own area, etc. I haven't lived there in almost 20 years so I don't know now.

You are free not to respond. I enjoy countering ridiculous nonsense.
The difference is that Israel is far more effective at it. It makes sense for them to attack Hamas after October 7th, because they are doing orders of magnitude more damage to Hamas than Hamas did to them. The attacks by Hamas and Hezballah are merely provocations that get more of their own people killed but have no tactical or strategic benefit. All they can hope for is that other nations will feel sorry for them and somehow punish mean old Israel.
I am arguing that there is no path to victory for Hamas. There is a path to victory for Israel. As such, military action is a poor decision by Hamas and a good decision by Israel. The smart thing to do for one side is to keep fighting until they win. The smart thing to do for the other side is surrender and quit throwing away lives for no benefit. How compelling the arguments are (and I don't agree they are equally compelling, but that is a different discussion) can be set aside and they can make purely practical decisions.
Who am I in this scenario that I am helping the American government oppress its people and that I am trying to being a Holocaust on my own people?
You're confused, I am a partisan anti-terrorist. I hope Israel wipes out all the terrorist scum.
The Arab world rejected the creation of Israel, fought a war to prevent it, and got their collective ass kicked. Israel is fighting a war against their terrorist antagonists, but unlike the Arabs in 1948, Israel is winning. The worst thing they could do is give up and allow the terrorists to continue existing.
Which state is my terrorist state? Who's deep state dick am I sucking? You don't make any sense.

Just like his other Jihadist friends, he hates Israel and the USA.

Israel is the little devil for him, the USA the great devil.

He posted here before how much he hates the US bases on what he considers Muslim land.

    Etc.

People still engage him as if he weren't a Jihadist.
