Trump only received about 26% of the Hispanic women's vote in 2016. By 2020, he bumped that number up to 33%, showing a clear trend of increasing support. So while they still lean Democratic, it's hard to ignore the progress Trump has made with Hispanic women, and it’s definitely a factor going into 2024.

I hate when people use Cubans as a representative of Latinos in politics. It's like using older Vietnamese immigrants as example of Asians. There are unique because of their history.

Without the extreme gerrymandering and efforts to make voting difficult, the GOP would be F'ed nationally. It's just a matter of time before Texas turns purple and Georgia turns blue. With California, NY, and Georgia dependably blue, and Texas in play, it will be over before it begins at the National level. What happens in Georgia and Arizona will be the barometer for the next couple of decades. The boomers are going to die off. Without boomers, the GOP would be toast.

The GOP needs to reinvent themselves.

I agree with you but have a question.

If the Republican party reinvents itself will that matter?

From what I have seen the last few elections, it appears the divide amongst Republicans and Democrats seems to be expanding.
and those committed to a specific party don't care or want to delve into policies of the party they are not a part of.

I might be wrong, but I don't see many crossovers anymore.

Elon out of his own anger for California is taking his ball and running to Texas. By doing that he is bringing the folks with him that support all that he is against.
    Am I wrong?

Never underestimate the pull of intellectual laziness, self-pity and resentment. Powerful agents for least common denominator politics (and cable news programming -- double victory.)

They already reinvented themselves in 2016, when they got all the deplorables. It's not that people love the Democrats. Eventually they need to get away from the morality game and dog whistle politics.

It literally took someone like Trump, some Russian meddling, and James Comey to beat probably the least popular democrat ever to run for president to win the election at razor thin margins. Hillary wasn't even popular with democrats. Lots of young people blamed her for Bernie.

They try modifying though which is of course a way of trying to control the weather. If you disagree, then tell the NOAA to update their website:

Many cases of this by the way straight from government websites.

You think "they" (presumably, the Democrats) used cloud seeding to create Hurricane Helene?

I knew the Republican party was full of extremist wackos like Marjorie Taylor Greene and @Scarface281 - who is currently arguing that the Democrats used cloud seeding to create Hurricane Helene (!?!) - but if you told me they'd be running 2 self-declared "Black Nazis" in major races in 2024, I wouldn't have believed you.

Where did I argue the democrats used cloud seeding to create Helene? This is why the Dems are going to lose the election because you keep making things up.

The level of concern that I have over the Republican Party giving these idiots ant level of credibility or a forum is VERY high.

This is how it was in Germany in the 1920's and the USA in the USA in the 1880's... weirdo charlatans that are given a forum to disease people.
