maybe all the shooters that came to houston lost their shots because they were shooting in a trash practice facility. then they would have to shoot at Toyota Center. We did it. Reed Sheppard the first rockets shooter to benefit from Elite practice facilitating. #EatAtLandrys
I see Sengun, Brooks, Cam, and Amen on the grey team I see Jalen, Sheppard, FVV, Landale, Adams on the black team Anyone catch other notables and which team they’re on? Where was Jabari?
Gray Team Starters Alperen Sengun Dillon Brooks Markquis Nowell Aaron Holiday Cam Whitmore Bench: Jabari, Amen, Jeff, N'Faly, McVeigh Black Team Starters Jalen Green Fred VanVleet Jock Landale Jae'Sean Tate Nate Williams Bench: Reed, Tari, Adams, Samuels, Hinton, Maker
And when he's giving his HoF speech having won 7 championships with 12 all-star appearances, they'll be like, we would have got ten chips with Scottie Barnes. Do I have it right?
Why do you get more offended by these comments and not one that dismisses an entire player's season because of a single missed three pointer in a scrimmage video?
I get that you are pretty fundamentally dishonest when it comes to anything related to your deity, but do you REALLY think it was the one miss in a scrimmage video, or the 3 years of failure that has him skeptical about your guy? I think in your heart of hearts, you know the truth, it's just that you don't feel like you can be honest without it being an act of heresy.
This is just the 3rd day of camp. Reed is just beginning to learn his limitations against legit NBA players. It won't be the last time he gets stuffed in camp.
Yeah, he's gonna have his "Welcome to the NBA" moments just like everybody else, people should definitely temper expectations slightly for a guy his size. It's going to be an adjustment for him in the paint especially when the majority of the league are either going to be a lot bigger/taller or a lot more athletic compared to his college competition. I'm not worried about it, dude's got a good head on his shoulders, I'm sure he'll adapt.
Of course y'all are right. I don't think attacking the rim will be a big part of his game though. I see a mid-career CP3 shot profile, with more threes of course.
...well I guess it's back to RGV for Reed. Hard to keep up here when every player is judged by a couple of misses or makes from 6 minutes of practice footage
