Dude, Iran cannot level a nuclear state protected by the US in a region dotted by US bases. Iran is surrounded on all sides by nuclear bases/powers loyal to the US. Israel has defeated ten Arab nations at once. It's crushing 4 middle eastern nations with one hand right now. The Mullahs do not want to die. They love power. They're not going to commit suicide for this. They have always been doing what netenyahu is doing: manufacturing self defense motives to stay in power. I largely agree that Iran is riven with internal divides and much of the population of the country doesn’t want thr mullahs. The Mullahs are exploiting foreign adversaries for their own benefit. I would also say that I Israel most Israelis doesn’t want Netanyahu but he is exploiting conflict to keep in power. The US did attempt to reduce the amount of outright conflict and actually work with moderates in Iran with the nuclear deal. That was reversed. The political reality other there is going to be no major change regarding the US position on Israel or Iran in the near future. Certainly not until after the election.
