He’s was taking his shot at his monologue. JD completely ignored his first first question and did the same thing. Walz was like **** that.

These moderators are doing a good job. They are going back to both of them and telling them they didn't answer the question.
He needed to relax but tried to get out to Much too fast. Vance helped him though by saying we all make mistakes and say the wrong thing.
Walz looked like a kid trying to cover up a lie in front of his parents stumbling over his words, looking hella nervous
Vance did a good job with he abortion question but he has a poor hand starting. The moderators are hitting him on it.
Walz needs to go at Vance about his statement that wives with children should stay in physically abusive relationships. He didn't. He tried to get the campaign talking points in about the woman in Georgia. Walz is correct but he needs to be allowed to be himself and they need to unleash him to go after the rubbish Vance has supported. Walz is best when he can be himself and isn't shackled to drive home the campaign messages.
Vance is certainly smoother and delivery is better than Walz. He’s made several untruths though and Walz is calling him on it. Walz needs to dial things back a bit but otherwise is doing fine. Vance is doing fine but has to defend a lot of claims that are easily disproven.

Just let Walz be Walz. That is his strength. He's clearly been told to hammer home the themes of the Harris campaign. That makes sense because a unified message is generally a good thing. But sometimes the coach should plan to his player's strengths. That is the case here. Trust that Walz will hit the highlights, but just let him be himself. He's a very likable guy with a lot of common sense. But guide him to attack and hold Vance accountable for his crazy statements. Vance hasn't been hammered on his craziness.
No he isn't. Vance is doing a good job at being a polished deliverer of bogus material. But he is absolutely not good on the actual facts.
I’ll say both are doing a very good job On the gun violence issue. They are being substantive and respectful
