1st inning was 3 pitches. Leaving 6 more that could have been pounded plus a ball or 2, if they waited it out. Same for the 5th. Just admit it. It's a terrible approach against the best. Especially with no one on base
Yet, Bagwell advocated wanted him back after his 'reset' that was more like realizing your NES from the 80s still doesn't work.
So glad I didn't watch this game so far. Framber is not an ace, and now we just wasted Blanco in a game the Astros aren't coming back from. Luckily we have 2 more games left to get it done.
Really hope there are fundamental Changes to the offensive philosophy this off season. Neglecting to shore up the line up with serviceable bats will be the biggest failure of Brown and I say that as a Dana fan
What teams have a good bottom of their lineup? One that is going to be effective against Skubal? Please go ahead and name them. Off the top of my head, only the Dodgers and Padres come to mind. You complaining about that is even dumber than complaining about Framber giving up 3 runs and 9 baserunners in 4.1 innings against probably the worst lineup in the playoffs.
I wish they would have done more to give Whitcomb a chance in the regular season. Having to start Dubon in LF in the post-season hurts.
