The prediction of Yordan not seeing any pitches hasn't fruitioned. Walks and HRs while he's on base, Diaz. Avoid the DP.
completely understandable opposite could be say where your starting pitcher go 6-7 innings but your offense couldn't do jack shiet and it's demoralizing. hunter, spaghetti, framber, and kikuchi have seen it quite a bit this season.
I’ve seen teams be able to hit when their pitcher has been awful. Framber isn’t getting raked out here regardless. Seeing eye grounders are bad luck. The opposing pitcher being Cy Young matters most. But he’s having to work for it now. Good ABs
Valdez has had some bad luck. Pena was two inches from stopping the first run and ending the second inning 0-0. Then the next two hits were almost outs as well. These types of close plays matter in a short series - and against the hottest team in baseball the last 6 weeks. Framber isn't prime Verlander or Koufax - but he is pretty good, and was a whisker from it being 0-0
He’s also been all over the place in the zone, walked multiple guys, and got down 3-0 to their .190 hitting catcher before giving up the first run on the next pitch.
The ground balls that got through were unfortunate, the 2 walks in 2 innings to sub par hitters, one of which he was up 0-2 on, were self-inflicted. He prevents the 2nd walk and he gets out of the inning clean.
