You're onto something there. Framber's only win when throwing game 1 in his career was vs MIN in the 2020 first round (I don't blame him for the game 1 ALCS loss as the offense only scored one run). Every other time, 2021 WS, 2021 ALCS, and 2023 ALDS, it's been a total disaster.
Didn’t get to see all of it because of stupid meetings but saw they scored one run on a seeing eye ground ball. That sucks and not much you can do about that.
Here's my thoughts for that last half inning. ROOF CONSTRUCTION: TPO MEMBRANE 1/2" COVER BOARD 6" RIGID INSUL. VAPOR BARRIER STEEL DECK
This is why you don't start 12-24 and show a total inability to win 1 run games. A .500 record in those gives you the #1 seed in the AL.
bunch of injuries and bunch of rookie pitchers. what are you supposed to do? buy more players? astros ain't the yankees
It is most certainly a better idea to win more games as opposed to less games. You’re on to something there.
Nobody here wanted anything to do with the top pitcher in the AL, even if Framber pitched well there's a real chance Skubal steals game 1 regardless and then some fluke bullshit knocks the Astros out of the playoffs.
doesn't matter. astros will lay eggs one way shape or form. if they think they're the best out of the bunch, then they need to show up regardless of the opponents.
