At least this Bills defense looks like it’s susceptible. The run is opening up some throws for Lamar. Hopefully Mixon is back
Man, I don't think I've ever seen a Texans team protect their QB........ Before last season as a kid I watched the entire inaugural season with David Carr and dude got sacked like 10 times a game.... Its not as bad now but man with a guy like Stroud you would think it should be their top priority. Perhaps it is and they have good players I just can't recognize it because I mainly watch basketball and baseball...
Sacks are mostly a QB stat, not an oline stat. Carr was insanely lazy and did not work hard or give a crap about being a qb. He would have looked just as bad behind a "good" line.
You're not gonna succeed as a Qb if you don't care, it's impossible. There's no scenario where he wouldn't have been a complete bust. I absolutely despise him so i'm biased but dude gave ZERO F's about football
The Texans can commit a bunch of penalties and still get ugly wins against mediocre and bad teams, but against good teams like last week they will get blown out. Good teams take advantage of mistakes and penalties. The Texans can still win their division but they won’t get far if they don’t start cleaning things up. There needs to be consequences and heads need to roll if this continues.
It's hard to believe the Bills beat the Jags by 37 points last week. I hope DeMeco and Slow wit are taking notes on what Baltimore is doing on both sides of the ball to dominate them.
You're also not gonna succeed if you're coming in as a rookie n you're getting absolutely killed on every play. Dude got sacked like 76 times.
Bills about to get blown up, I hope that doesn't mean they're coming in angry next week. I hope the Bills are regressing back to the mean, since they honestly shouldn't be this good with the amount of players they got rid of this off season.
Sure, because he didn't care and he sucked. It's definitely a mix of both, but a good qb would have survived and been fine, not a lazy ass who couldn't care less
Carr? At least 30 of those sacks were him just choosing to run out of bounds a yard behind the line of scrimmage instead of throwing the ball away. He did that with such regularity it was the most egregious, selfish thing I’ve ever seen from a QB.
They should’ve never drafted him first in the first place. The Tim Couch/Browns failed model should’ve been enough for Casserly/McNair and Dum to see that our oline was gonna be trash. I know they thought Tony Boselli was gonna help but the Jags didnt protect him in the expansion draft for a reason. That should’ve been a massive red flag. You don’t let a HOF/Franchise LT go unprotected.
Yep. We could have had Henry though. Mixon's done great but he only lasted 2 games. Bad luck, and an illegal hit. Hopefully that's all he'll miss this year. Also, Josh Allen isn't a joke when it comes to being physical. He's tougher than Lawrence and a better runner.
