Not sure about "pretty well" vs Ragans.... he severely dominated them until the 6th, then had some fluke stuff go against him. Thankfully Kikuchi matched him well that game. Given how staffs get handled in the playoffs, he probably will get pulled prior if a similar situation evolves. But the Astros also do well against staffs that they're familiar with... and the turnaround they made on the Royals from early the season to that last series was huge. Lastly, they have experience in these games. Bregman/Altuve/Tucker hit quality pitchers on this stage. If Yordan can play, that's enough. They could also easily lose 2 of 3. Will come down to how well the Astros pitchers navigate around Witt and keep the activity on the base paths to a minimum.
Just saying, if we face the Royals the tigers SP’s aren’t scary after Skubal. Their pen is lights out.
they own the tiebreaker. The Astros made adjustments to Skubal the next time they faced him. At this point, either matchup is going to be a toss-up... as they all are... just gotta rely on health, history, experience.
Colby Rasmus happened in 2015… meaning anything can happen over a sample size of 20 or so games that are all played vastly differently compared to the 162 game counterpart.
If you can afford to go to games you're doing better than most. This has to do with Gas/Grocery prices and nothing to do with Trump, although we know you're going to blame Trump for inflation somehow.
Chills. One of my very best friends grew up in Denver and lives there now. I’m sure he was there today, and Blackmon is his favorite Rockie of time…I imagine he might have been cutting some onions there I didn’t want to waste posting this in the Other Sports forum
