Not only that, he kept him in there on offense after his penalty. Why? We have better players to throw to and bigger blockers.
It made sense for Jags. Texans were shooting themselves in the foot all departments. Texans didnt score in the 2nd half until last second. Even on the drive after 4th down stop, Texans took themselves out of FG range, and barely even got there needing extra long plays to do it.
I'm tired of hearing DeMeco say we need to clean that up referring to penalties. He's like a broken record at this point.
Psychologist: Why do you do this to yourself Riggs? Martin Riggs : Well, who else am I supposed to do it to? None of them'll let me.
Winning ugly is still winning. BUT, there are a good number of teams that are like the Vikings. I doubt the Texans will beat any of them unless they make major improvements. The three wins were all ugly wins. The "Superbowl Talk" needs to be put on the shelf.
It’s way too early, but the second QB in this draft is looking better than the first again. The bears are almost as bad as Cleveland at picking QBs.
Every franchise has its thing, I guess the Texans is always having a star WR. From Andre to Hopkins to now Nico.
Lol. Also some in the other forum may read the stat as “Texans are 3-1 in games where they commit tons of turnovers… they need to keep doing it!!! Clearly it’s leading to the outcome!”
On the bright side if you hate the Jags: Today was the best they can play and the Texans still beat them despite killing themselves with penalties. The season is over in Duuuval with 13 games left to play.
The Royal Tennenbaums was a criminally under appreciated movie. I think the version of the Texans we were sold at the beginning of the season has a shot against the Bills, or anyone.... but does that team exist?
