12 pitchers will be more than enough. Scott could also be healthy and ready too. Going to be a tough decision who makes it.
Still up in the air, Detroit is a game ahead of KC, but KC has the tiebreaker. At this exact moment it would be KC, but they could flip.
Overslot middle round draftee, big kid (6’4” 230). Missed 2021 with injury then steadily rose through the system 2022-2024. Not overwhelming numbers but solidly good. FB sits 93 but he’s gotten as high as 97. Throws 4 other pitches. He probably projects as a #5 SP or very good middle reliever in the majors. He’s Rule 5 eligible this year so he is being added to the 40 man roster in advance.
Spin then shpin agairnm and a gaid and aggain and again.... I would assume so, or at least get the vets out of it early.
If the Tigers lose and the Royals win, we play the Tigers. All teams playing around the same time today (by design) so we won’t know for a few hours.
I’m at the point of saying that in all probabilities… given they won the last 4 against the Royals… its very hard to beat any MLB team 6 games in a row or even 6 times in 7. Last week’s Angels game just another recent example of this old-age phenomenon (although they were working on 7 in a row there…)
