Because Whitcomb had 4 ****ing errors at 3B in the last game. I know this is shocking to you and your baseball brilliance
What a hell of a season for Ronel Blanco. 2.80 ERA over 167 IP. That's an incredible season. For Ronel, it guarantees he's on a major league roster for the next few seasons at least getting him to arbitration. A life changing season for him and his family at 31 years old.
Absolutely. Definitely out of left field. Makes me want to ask if we just got lucky or if there’s still some magic makers on our scouting and development team?
This is all stuff that should not be said unless you also want to die in the leftie field Too much downhill and rando bullshit...it's all good now
Makes you wonder...of the pitchers that were on the IL all or most of the season...which of them would you bring back over any of the rotation that played most of the season? Javier over Verlander is about it. If Urquidy, McCullers, Garcia never pitched for the Astros again, I'd be fine with that. Otherwise, I'm totally cool with starting 2025 with Framber, Brown, Blanco, Arrighetti, Kikuchi (if we can keep him).
Happy for the win, but must admit it's my most apathetic win since 2016. Blanco continues to roll, and the team might be raising their game heading into the playoffs. Astros have had a 5-run lead once in 3 weeks. No new injuries, I think. .
Rocco Baldelli threw in the towel in the top of the 8th inning putting in his worst relief pitcher who would go on to give up 4 runs. That firing might be announced Sunday night.
