My understanding is the Teamster local Chapters vote on leadership so they have been empowered to make decisions like that for their members.
Have you ever been apart of a union? Leadership makes decisions/suggestions that goes against the membership often. I just think it's interesting how much the national one (aka the main body) not endorsing kamala has triggered dems into posting every local that does, despite the majoroty of their members feeling differently

I belong to NYSUT. the New York Teachers union. I have never been asked to participate in any voting for whom the union should support. I guess it doesn't matter here in NY.

Did you click the Teamsters polling pdf I posted that shows all the locals voting for Trump except the DC local? I haven't either for the one I'm apart of, but we have made decisions that membership either has not liked or wanted more from. But these locals endorsing a candidate their members did not choose sounds like some bribery is going on
