Ah, so now we're back to outright lying about the quality of Jalen's performance by using only raw scoring numbers. Then normal people will point out that by every metric, Jalen has been terrible. Then he'll try to discount every basketball metric there is.... only to fail and then fall back on saying how it's actually not just fine that Jalen has been terrible... but it's actually a good thing. Then he'll go back to lying about Jalen being good This entire thing has played out many dozens of times over the past 3 years. He knows he's lying but he sees it as his duty to be Jalen's chief propagandist
History massively disagrees with you here. See: All the people who refuse to give him any credit any time he's played above and beyond his peers, which is literally more occasions than every single other draftee we've had combined in the last 3 years.
Andrew Wiggins' scoring average through his first three seasons was 20.4 vs Jalen's 19.8. Maybe he wasn't seen as a complete bust at the time, but was certainly considered undeserving of his max extension. After his fourth season there was no question he was a bust.
So not a bust? And outside of Jalen Green where he's too young to make a determination, Wiggins is not only by far the worst player in the top 10, he's by far the worst player in the top 20. So you found the worst player in the top 20 of such a list and he's still not considered a bust. Disappointing sure.
Wiggins is absolutely a bust. Maybe he’s not Anthony bennett but he’s a complete bust as a first pick. Cam thomas averaged 22.5 last year and will probably be over 25 this year, i think you would agree he’s garbage right? There are a few people here incapable of looking past ppg but i think you’re better than that.
after all the chances in his first 3 years, last year, he was jordan poole wizard behind the arc in terms of volume and efficiency so, after his 3rd year, I would say wizards jordan poole so far for me
It’s wild seeing the history being jacked as If last year didn’t happen. Jalen Green was benched more than anyone on the roster by far. That isn’t me being mean, that’s just what happened. Houston Rockets fans desperately want him to be better.
Wiggins is absolutely not a bust. He's a disappointing number one pick overall. Busts are dudes who can't get rotation minutes on 20 win teams as lottery picks.
Everyone would be thrilled if jalen was awesome next season. There’s no reason to dislike him, he’s not dirty or an ahole or anything, hasn’t had off court issues, nothing.
So the show comment was just having to be seen as fair. So you think he's a bust and want him to replace FVV with the on ball reps. Logically sound there bud. No cognitive dissonance here.
Wiggins is a bust, especially from Minnesota's point of view. A player drafted at #1 that has been a negative on both ends of the floor almost his entire career is a bust. I bet you consider Marvin Bagley not a bust as well.
How could anyone legitimately have this opinion when he's not even the best player the Rockets drafted in the first round of his own draft?
Then we just have completely different standards for high draft picks, which is fine. Makes more sense why you view green the way you do, which is fair
There is nothing fair about your analysis dude. Saying he's a bust is just edgelord bait to continue the poo flinging on a Internet forum.
Marvin Bagley didn't have a positive VORP until his 6th year in the league and because of how rebounding is weighed on these advanced stats, it's even more sad as bgs usually have natural advantages in things like VORP and BPM. Bagley averaged 22 mpg on a 30 win team. At very least when Jalen Green as a 20 year old is given high usage on bad teams, the team is worse with him off the court: https://cleaningtheglass.com/stats/player/4865/onoff#tab-team_efficiency Busts are lottery picks who struggle to get starter minutes on 20-30 win teams alat 20-22 years old and are even negatively impacting win output on bad teams.
