I had to find this again to share it with friends and my older son today. This is absurd. 12 year old me still can’t believe this. 12 year old me in tears watching us lose in 16 innings vs the Mets…good lord that game was a torture chamber and made me more of an Astros fan than anything else. I watched it by myself right after school…the last 9 innings or so. Just so amazed at what this franchise has accomplished…my little team. So ****ing great. Let’s ****ING GOOOOOOOOO

Isn’t that crazy? I get that I’m old and that isn’t even close to being reality until I was about 42 or so…but we’re 8 years in and you do the ****ing math…still crazy to me that they care enough to boo us..that Yankee fans chant WE WANT HOUSTON…I sincerely hope my Irish af grandparents who LOOOOOVEEDDD this team can see all of it and are aware of it…and if they’re not, wow do I have some stories to tell them when I get there. They also don’t have the tie breaker vs the twins

 

All that I posted had to do with developments that would keep Seattle out of the playoffs. Looks like KC and Detroit might get the job done. Then you all won't have to deal with me anymore. As long as Seattle is gone, I will be also. Mission accomplished.

Yup they done. Royals have the tie breaker over the Tigers but Detroit plays the White Sox for the final 3 games. Ima go with the Tigers to beat them out and we play the Royals.

 

I'd hate to face seattle and their pitchers again. Why not party until the last game of the series and play the normal line up today. Thursday-Monday is still plenty of time off.

I like the lady broadcaster for the Mariners. 2nd inning: "You'd think one of the guys that needs some time off is Bregman. Why isn't he in a spa today?" When Alex leaves, "Oh thank you. Go take care of your elbow and relax." Don't think anyone was expecting 1,000 errors from the replacement.

 

She was b!tching the whole series. That tandem were so annoying.

 

I know you were talking about earlier today, but the Mariners would have to win out 3-0 and either Tigers or Royals would have to lose out 0-4. Also assuming the Twins in that scenario lose at least 2 more games.
