Your moniker indicates you've lived here a while so you should know better than to EVER say such a thing about any Houston team. All Houston teams go out of their way to make things difficult. It's just the way it is.
Not sure they even need it, but could see it. Allen is spreading it around and balling his ass off right now. The defense is playing good too. Gonna test us
This team has no excuse this week. After getting embarrassed last week I hope they're all ticked. Take it out on a team who is reeling in the Jags this week. We shouldn't just cover if we're anything close to what we think we can and should be. This should be a no-doubter given the way the Jags are playing and I hope DeMeco can get the team to see that and focus their frustration right though the Jags.
I haven't been impressed by either side of the ball so far. This game is a good chance to get a statement win to gain some more confidence.
They will definitely be our most difficult team to beat so far. My hope is we win the turnover battle, and our offensive line doesn't fold like a bunch of marshmallows. We have got to be able to score touchdowns to keep up with that offense. Field goals won't cut it. But, Josh Allen averaged 13 interceptions a year in his 6 years, and had 18 interceptions last year. I sure hope DeMeco studies the hell out of their tapes to prepare our defense.
Allen is on another level right now. He makes plays that no one else in the league can make. Majority of his turnovers are because he can make plays no one else can.
That's true, but we have the best defense, and better than any team they've faced this year. That, and we get to play them on our turf. Hopefully our guys that missed most of preseason will be more disciplined, focused, and prepared next week. I won't count CJ out to get on fire. If he is, then I expect a gunfight among quarterbacks, and us winning that battle.
Going Quarters so often explains the CB splits off the line. Need to coach them to press vs using depth since the CBs are manned up in that shell. I like the coverage as a whole, but you can tweek it to fit your better players.
My god, if the Texans are talking about the Bills as much as this board is, expect a ****ing embarrassing beatdown on Sunday. Nobody, I mean NOBODY, should be giving the slightest thought to the Buffalo Bills right now.
I'm sure it would be a classic trap game if not for the Texans completely embarrassing themselves last week against the Vikings. That pathetic failure SHOULD be enough to get the team to come out looking for blood this week.
I would hope so. It’s important that they do, have to get a get right game in to get that confidence up
